There's a chance that nobody knows this but I feel like I should ask, in case I may just be missing something but, Did Terezi stay behind or something? She wasn't really in the new universe that I noticed and it kinda makes me feel like she stayed behind or something. :/
I doubt it, she probably just wasn’t shown. But who knows?
Hey I just wanted to say thank you for everything you do. Now that Homestuck's over..…............................................................................ What now? I feel empty. Anything you recommend to help with the pain? I don't think I'll ever get over this amazing piece of shit which I love and spent 6 years of my life reading.
Start again. Just because Homestuck is over doesn’t mean it’s gone. It’s still there to be read and enjoyed as much as you like. We still have an epilogue waiting for us, and 4 Hiveswap games.
This is the Homestuck fandom, we’re used to not getting content. Just think of this as another long hiatus until Hussie starts creating something new.
I'm a little confused about something in the ending. Do the kids just go back to the alpha kids planet which was all fixed up and eventually becomes caliborn and calliopes planet or do they actually go to the new universe and live there
Will the human race be restored to earth as well as trolls? If so, how?
Well they could do it the old fashion way or maybe through ectobiology. Considering half the kids are either related or pretty gay, my bet is on the later.
So if the Cherubs are from Universe C, and their session is a dead session, does that mean that there will be no new universe after the end of Universe C? It feels kinda sad that if the point of Sburb/Sgurb is to ensure the continuity of reality after the universe ends, that the kids' new universe will be the last universe to ever exist :(
Cherubs might not be the only species to play Sburb in Universe C, we don’t know
There isn’t a canon explanation for it but I enjoy the theory that since female trolls are more aggressive that they developed breasts as some what of an extra coating, to act as an armor.
How do you know that the universe the kids made and are currently living in will be the planet the cherubs are born in? I thought the whole point was to make sure they weren't born at all so LE wouldn't be a thing.
Ok, so I just want to get this clarified. Jade brought back the Earth and the kids are going to terraform it and live there, right? And then the new planet is going to eventually be shared by the Carapaceons and the Trolls?
are you sure that the fantrolls are from the new earth? because i thought that it was a random planet. hear me out, this was an explanation about how cherubs don't really have a universe and they wander from place to place concurring and liberating in the explination it shows this scene and then eventually another scene of the new earth. idk i might be wrong, i just need closure
I didn’t say they were on Earth. Earth probably was dead at that point and the Neo Troll empire moved on to another planet
Do Knights have to help the Space player breed frogs or is that something that usually happens. Could there be a successful session without either a Knight or a Space player?
It’s only speculation that Knights have to help the Space player, but there must be a space player for a session to be successful.
I'm really upset that people keep dissing [S] Act 7. Hussie and his team put so much work into all of this, and I see so many dissatisfied people. It isn't fair that we complain over everything they work on. The art was great, so was the music, and we got a happy ending. Hussie even wants to put out an Epilogue. What more could we ask for? Ships? Homestuck's shipping has always been about being ambiguous, just like canon appearances. That's what makes our fandom at least partially civilized.
Everyone knows Calliope was based on the fandom, but I feel like they forget Caliborn was too.
A video game written by Andrew Hussie and a few others about a human girl that gets sent to Alternia via a mysterious portal and must find a way to get back home. Here’s the website and link to the Kickstarter.
This isnt a question, but just wanted to make an ask to recognise the true unsung hero of this fandom - this blog. Seriously you guys have been amazingly helpful to pretty much everybody in the fandom who's ever been confused at some point, and fielding all these questions now takes some dedication. Always helpful and well explained as well. A wonderful blog, thank you for it all.
Thank you so much! Your message means a lot to both of us. We’re very glad the blog has been helpful to so many people. We appreciate your kind message!
Is it bad to not like the homestuck ending?? I mean, the music and art was beautiful! and its good that it had a happy ending but im just kinda dissatisfied with it and so many people are against people not really liking it
You have every right to not like the ending. There are just so many people complaining about it and I feel it’s kinda rude, like c’mon guys, can’t we have just one day to suffer in sadness??
So I understand most of the ending but there's one little thing I think I've missed somewhere. When Vriska pulls out the ultimate weapon it's loaded with the kids, like we saw in Caliborn's Masterpiece, but when exactly did the kids go to fight Caliborn and get sucked into the ultimate weapon? I know it happened, but I'm just not sure when, from the perspective of the kids, that fight went down...
