I remember reading on of Andrew’s Q&As that the plain black ancestor look was just a stylistic choice like when he drew the guardians with only noses or mouths. It’s not their literal appearance. 

Before Calliope was killed, did Caliborn share thoughts with Calliope or were their thoughts unsharable? If Calliope was awake could some of her actions be changed or inflicted by Caliborn's thoughts or control over Calliope if it is possible?

(Vriska) was the one who changed her hair and clothes. She’s pre-retcon Vriska who was killed by Terezi.

Not all yellow bloods have psionics but they’re very likely to develop them. Also, yes we still have a ton of messages.

Sollux had red/black vacillating feelings for Gamzee but it never really came to fruition.  

how come Kankri didn't get culled?

On Beforus mutants weren’t culled, they were adopted by a highblood and pretty much pampered.

John likes Legend of Zelda Wind Waker, manga, Crash Bandicoot, Sailor Moon, and Star Trek.

That last one about tuber paste being butter is actually wrong! Grubloaf is supposed to be "meat" like meatloaf and tuber paste is a reference to potatoes (also known as tubers) as in mashed potatoes. So what he's saying is that it's the "meat and potatoes" which is a pretty basic term for something very basic and common, the base of a thing.

Gotcha! Sorry I thought he was saying something akin to “bread and butter”. I’ll change it.

The cult of the Signless bred the lusus that took care of him and gave him a sign so he wouldn’t be culled.

A combination of things. Loss of sopor, the video Dave sent him, and the presence of Lil Cal. Gamzee explains here that he found out his Messiahs are the :o) and Do: of him, as in “Lil Cal contains a shard of my soul and I actually become part of Lord English in the future”. Everything he does after that is to further Lord English’s goals.

Yes.

Kankri doesn’t talk about the highbloods he was raised by but since he’s a mutant we can generally assume that’s what happened. A lusus wouldn’t choose a mutant to take care of unless it was specifically bred for it like Karkat’s lusus was.

Why were the limebloods wiped out

Calliope mentions here that the limebloods possessed powerful abilities that threatened the highbloods more than the other powers that the lowbloods had so they were hunted to extinction.

She’s an olive blood. Lime blood is the caste between her and Sollux.

What powers did lime bloods have? (Besides being amazing moiralles)

The idea of lime bloods being extremely effective moirails is fanon. Their actual abilities aren’t revealed in canon.

Most likely a mutant thing since Aradia could also communicate with the dead but she wasn’t a hero of Doom. 

You've told us before that Jack is usually not the main villain, so in a normal session would he just be hangin out on Derse and tell you something like "I'll help you kill the black royalty" ????

He’s supposed to help you usurp the BQ but never turn into a main villain.

So I have read your response to why Kurloz has his mouth stitched, it's not bc he screamed and his lucius went deaf it's because once he had a nightmare that terrifing that he woke up with scream (vast honk) and Meulin was sleeping next to him. It was so loud she became deaf and he couldn't forgive himself and sewn them shut and chewed his tongue, yes that is all thank you haha

Well literally the next few pages is Karkat becoming Gamzee’s moirail so no.

I saw the ask about how kankri was raised and felt the need to say a thing on it! Kankri was unable to obtain a lusii because of his mutant status, but stated somewhere in openbound, porrim and her lusus took him in.

Sorry I’m gonna need a screen shot for evidence. I’ve played all the openbound games at least three times each and haven’t seen mention of that.

Yes davekat becomes endgame canon.

The Condesce was only in the employment of Lord English after all the trolls died from the Vast Glub so all the horrible stuff she did during her rule was all her, not LE.
