Their blood color lies outside the hemospectrum and it brands them a mutant. They’re considered pariahs and are culled on sight as mentioned by Karkat when he speaks to Meenah in Openbound when the player speaks to him in his room dream bubble.
What was the Scratch? Why did it happen and what did it do?
The scratch was started because the kids’ session was going all wrong. You trigger it when you scratch the surface of the construct on the Time player’s planet in a special way with quills from Echidna. It acts as a reset button and reboots the session. The two ecto groups are switched and the new group plays instead.
fluorite octet anon was asking if the order of the dice roll would affect the outcome; if it did, then rolling 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 8 would give a different result than 8, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1. I think they were assuming that you roll the dice one at a time, rather than all at once though.
Oh, well in that case, I wanna say we can’t say for sure, we don’t have enough of a data pool. The main defense for the order mattering is here, where it says Vriska odds of rolling the perfect result is 1 in 16,777,216. Which is true, the chance of rolling 8 8s is that likely, but that can’t be used to say order matters since all the numbers are the same. If it said that about a roll being 1,2,3,4,5,5,6,7 then yes that would be evidence of order-dependence. And you might say “But putting so much emphasis into how much a long shot it is kind of an argument for it being non-order dependent, implying that other results are easier to obtain”. But that can’t be used either since again, the probability of getting 8 of the same number is that high. So yeah, we really can’t be 100% sure
The order of the octet does matter, because doc scratch said that the chance of eight 8s was 8^y where y=8. This this number of permutations of eight dice, implying that either the dice themselves are designated as 1-8 or that whichever one hits the ground first is the first of the order

That topic is using faulty logic because
1: it’s assuming genetics influence gender which isn’t always necessarily true and
2: Dave’s not a clone of Dirk, he’s got Roxy’s dna too.

Following this logic, would the Green Sun's creation be visible from any session's Veil, or only those orbiting it at a specific distance?
Should be only those orbiting it. I doubt sessions with a different Green Sun would have seen it.
Would any sea dwelling trolls with a blood color too close to the empresses be killed at birth? I might be wrong but I think the empress kills the heiresses in order to have a longer reign, right?

The Beat Mesa is a construct that holds a massive amount of temporal energy that Skaia needs in order to enact the Scratch.
Basically, it’s like a fire hydrant that you crack open when there are too many irons in the fire. And the hose directs the water to make the fire go out so things can go smoothly next time.

Twice. Back in 2012 and 2013. I read through Acts 1-4 last year. And I jump all over the place when I’m trying to answer questions. So all-in-all I’ve probably read it significantly more than that. But straight front to back, only the two times.
