Black Skin is actually a stylistic choice to depict Adult Trolls. We can see this same stylistic choice being used on Trizza at the end of Act 1 of Hiveswap.
This is proved in canon by this panel, in which the Handmaid (Slightly Off-Screen) is shown to have Grey Skin, even though she’s depicted completely black in every other panel.

Yes because Caliborn’s Masterpiece happens after any of the post-canon content as it is canonically the last known event to happen in story since the Beta kids get trapped and the Alpha kids get stranded.
Hey, what page was it said how old a troll will be when they're exiled from Alternia? I think it was 9 sweeps with almost certainty, but I can't find the page, or even the part where I think the page was. As far as I can remember, Doc Scratch was talking about it, and we got to see Mindfang a bit.
It hasn’t been stated the exact age a young troll is exiled. But it is likely in the 7-9 range
How do adult trolls change with age? In depictions I’ve seen them have all dark orange horns and generally really big and with bigger horns maybe... Is this a stylistic choice or does it reflect actual physiology of adult trolls? Thank you!!
The black skin and all orange horns are stylistic as far as we know. Adult trolls eyes fill in with their blood color and they grow to be relatively large compared to younger trolls.
i'm pretty sure there was a frame (one of the select-a-character ones i think?) where meenah fantasized about being the condesce... would you say the outfit in that frame (and where the actual skin was) would be an accurate way to look at her condescension's outfit?
I believe you’re referencing this page, where it looks like the Condy’s outfit is a black jumpsuit then yeah, that’s probably fairly accurate to what it actually is

Dreamselves and God Tier are ideal versions of the person. Like how Tavros’s dreamself could walk and Vriska’s God tier had her arm and eye back. Terezi’s could have seen but her ideal self was being blind. Jade’s dreamself grew more arms on one occasion.

The most basic way I can explain it is that it’s a time loop. Jake needed to kiss Dirk so that Dirk would wake up so that Dirk could wake up Jake so that Jake would kiss Dirk so that Dirk would wake up so that Dirk could wake up Jake so that..yadaa yaddaa yadaa so on and so forth

A lot of the ancestor stuff was first talked about in Mindfang’s journal who as we know has a liking for the number 8. Presumably Hussie gave 8 letter titles because we were reading about it in said Journal and then the naming convention just stuck. But they all have names as well as their titles.
