Can you please clarify which set of trolls is Alpha and which ones are Beta? Like is Karkat, Gamzee, etc. Alphas or Betas?

Technically Karkat’s group is the Beta trolls.  But because everyone mixes up which group is which I just refer to them as pre-scratch or post-scratch.
