I didn't think the beta kids handles were based on DNA...I think it's just the alpha kids and the post-scratch trolls

The Alpha kids and Beta kids’ chumhandles are literally the same letters. 

Jane and Jade are both GG
Dirk and Rose are both TT
Dave and Roxy are both TG
Jake and John’s old one are GT
