Am I missing something or are Karkat and Terezi the only remaining completely mortal members of the group? Like, even if they win they will grow old and die while the rest lives on.

Kanaya, Terezi, Karkat, and possibly Gamzee are the only ones who aren’t godtiers. So yes, if they do not find some way to ascend they will eventually grow old and die.
