Does a successful Sburb/Sgrub session absolutely NEED at least four players to successfully complete the game? In the case of the cherub session, could that game have successfully worked with only two people?

The game could’ve successfully worked with two players since you really only need a Time player and a Space player to actually complete the session. Rose states here in her walk through that the game seems to suit two players most naturally, the server and the client.
