You said that if only one person doesn't prototype, it's void, but that doesn't make sense. Each prototype modifies the battlefield, so wouldn't even only one prototyped kernel make the game winnable?

All the players need to prototype at least once pre-entry for the Battlefield to fully evolve to it’s final form.
