The way the immortality curse works is that the servant with the curse can only be killed at a specific time. The Handmaid wanted to die. Since the Condesce still had plans and didn’t want to die: 1) she’s about to be revived and fight the kids again, 2) the curse has passed to Roxy, or 3) Hussie decided to ignore it or something else is going on.
