aranea was trying to make the timeline where the kids never finish the game the Alpha timeline so that way caliborn never becomes Lord English right? did she ever really understand what she was doing? i mean, i guess she succeeded because the kids never did make universe C for him to exist in, but isnt that a plot hole? a broken time loop? how tf was caliborn even speaking to the kids in that pre-retcon timeline then? is that plot hole why aranea ultimately failed?

She knew she was creating a doomed timeline, she theorized that a millennial old Sylph of Light could heal the timeline into becoming the Alpha. But she ultimately failed and GAME OVER happened. Had she been a Sylph of Time, maybe things would have worked differently.
