Hello, i am a new reader and i am still trying to understand the storytelling. I mean stuff like how dad throws cakes to john and rose attacking mom or moms kinda weird manners toward rose and stuff. Is it just some comic shenanigans? I dont know? Like the stuff that happens in all those animes and all? I know bros abuse turns out to be actually terrible and how dave talks about it. It just confused me a little. Thanks!

Mom and Dad are just weird that way. They do it to humor or get a rise out of their kids, which isn’t too unusual, they just take it a bit farther
