Given that John only ever states that he is "not a homosexual", rather than that he is a heterosexual, isn't it possible that he could be asexual? Or is there canon evidence to contradict this that I'm forgetting about?

I personally headcanon John as being Ace but never really questions himself about it so he just lives his life thinking he’s straight
