What was honestly the point of the Vast glub being a power? When would that have been a GOOD idea to use???

Well the Vast Glub is just the attack at its most powerful, lesser powerful version could be used to target lowbloods exclusively which made it easier to keep them subservient or to use as a last ditch effort if rebellions grew too out of hand.
