Eridan's death was foreshadowed. His nicknames (Kan, Kar, Sol, ect.) are their names cut in HALF. He died by being cut in half.

Not sure if this is a foreshadow or just a coincidence, because Eridan shortens like, a LOT of words but I will leave this here.
