I have re-read Homestuck twice and it STILL confuses me. WHAT DO?

Get four horses and gallop into the sunset.  Live with these horses in the wild for thirteen years, after which return to society and reread Hometuck once more. Then and only then shall you understand it’s true meaning.  Trust me, I am a doctor.
