The dream self only becomes a godtier if your main body dies on your Quest Bed. If your dream self dies then you can still use your Sacrificial Slab at the center of the moons of Derse or Prospit to ascend. Calliope’s dream self was killed and she never came back because Caliborn took over the body. Karkat’s dream self died and he has no way to go godtier because both his Quest Bed and Sacrificial Slab were destroyed by Bec Noir.
The meteors flying at Skaia is called the Reckoning and it’s initiated once the Black king and his army defeat the Prosptians. Depending on how many players there are, yes the Reckoning could happen at different times in different sessions. The Beta kids’ Reckoning happened early because Jack Noir killed both kings and started it before the war was over.

Gamzee was able to get into Caliborn’s session because he stayed on post scratch Earth and waited until the cherub egg was laid there and then took care of them. He entered into the Medium along with Caliborn. Gamzee assembled his god tier suit himself. He was able to survive being shot many times over because it wasn’t his “time” to die yet. Gamzee knew when he would actually die so up to that point he was sort of invulnerable. Also, he’s a rascally clown and they’re hard to kill.
Their corpses were mangled and their heads were cut off by Gamzee so she most likely can’t revive them. Equius was already revived by being prototyped.

They were most likely able to merge because Rosesprite had only been prototyped once and could still be prototyped again. I doubt that two fully prototyped sprites could merge but hopefully spriting mechanics will be explored in more detail soon.

The game begins when two players make the client-server connection. The server deploys the cruxtruder, the pre-punched card, the totem lathe, and the alchemiter in the house of the client. The cruxtruder lid must be hit with a heavy object and it will open, releasing the kernel sprite and cruxite dowels. Insert the pre-punched card into the totem lathe then place a cruxite dowel in its carving mechanism. The dowel will be carved in a specific pattern and athen you take the dowel to the alchemiter machine. It will scan the dowel and alchemize an object and you use it in a specific way. If you use your artifact correctly before the meteor destroys your home, you and your house will be teleported immediately into the Medium and you’ll find yourself on your planet.
