I'm new here so I don't know if this has been asked in the past, but how was Aranea able to move planets?! Even if she was controlling ghosts with her mind powers, using mind control on an army of ghosts all the way in the furthest ring to have them throw planets all the way back where she is seems like a bit of a stretch (a rare thing in this comic, I'm sure :p ). Could't ghosts just influence the game from the furthest ring on their own then?
Aranea’s been honing her abilities for billions of sweeps and was mind controlling three Damaras, I don’t really think it was a stretch. As for whether the ghosts could influence the game I think it would depend on if they cared which it looks like only Meenah and Aranea did.
I think take last anon was actually asking why HIC wanted to kill the Alpha kids. Just so that anon knows: HIC thinks humans are disgusting. She eliminated their entire race during Dirk and Roxy's time, beside those two. She wanted to kill them to finish the job and also to get them out of her way during their game session.
The Condesce needs the kids to finish their session because her goal is to escape to the new universe and hatch the matriorb and rule over the new population of trolls. She sent droids after Dirk and Roxy when they were on Earth to force them to enter the Medium and play the game.
How did Jade turn half-dog when she reached God-tier?
Jade’s main body died on her Quest Bed and when you use that method to go godtier, your dream self is the one who ascends. Jadesprite was prototyped with Bec and Jade’s dream self so she was the one who went godtier. Godtier Jade has dog qualities because Jadesprite was part Bec.
OK so its been said that Gamzee and Feferi are durable due to their high blood caste and even Terezi was shown taking multiple wounds before dying. So why was Bec Noir able to kill their dreamselves with just a sword stabs?
Because after that he attacked the moons with a First Guardian attack and incinerated all of them in green fire. Also I don’t think even a highblood like Feferi could survive being bisected.

So today I was redoing the game on Act 6 Intermission 3 and I happened to reread the part at the end where Aranea talks about Porrim. Basically what I'm trying to ask is did Aranea sleep with Porrim or were they just red for a good second or so? Thanks!
They had a red fling for about half a sweep which is roughly a year.
If ecobiology is required, why didn't the prescratch trolls feel they had to do it? Like, with the kids, the pre scratch kids created everyone, where as the post scratch trolls made the pre scratch ones. I'm sorry if this question is confusing. Thanks :)

Can you explain the whole ectobiology thing? Like I've heard Dirk is Dave, and Dirk is bro, and that makes bro Dave??! I still get super confused about it.
Dave’s bro is pre-scratch Dirk and Dirk’s bro is post-scratch Dave.
Ectobiology is necessary to produce the players and complete the time loop and in case of a scratch where you would have another group of players available.

A First Guardian is an entity that draws power from the Green Sun and “facilitates the planet’s true purpose”. Each planet has a First Guardian. Jade’s dog Bec is the pre-scratch First Guardian of Earth and Gcat is the post-scratch First Guardian. They’re created with an especially potent genetic code that grants them omniscience and other powers like teleportation.

Who is the first guardian of Caliborn's session? also, how do we know for sure that caliborn's session has no scratch construct or that a scratch in his session wouldn't change anything? p.s. just wanted to say thank you for the dirty work you guys do here on this blog helping all of us confused fans
First Guardians are assigned to planets, not sessions. A scratch is caused by scratching the construct and sending it up to Skaia to switch the meteors of the Reckoning. Since Caliborn’s Skaia has exploded and he and Calliope were not created via ectobiology and he had no Reckoning, a scratch for his session doesn’t seem possible.
