On page 005900, why was Aradia surprised that Sollux could see the green sun? Were his "Mage of Doom" powers coming through one of his eyes? He is both blind and dead here, so which eye was it? The Green sun didn't exist yet, because it was created in Cascade... right? Am I missing something?
Sollux was blind in one eye, Aradia might have thought he was blind in both. As for the Green Sun, it’s right in front of them, this interaction takes place as Cascade is happening. Shortly after this conversation Dave and Rose will rise out of the sun.

I'm a little confused about the stop motion animations featuring the alpha kids and caliborn. Was that foreshadowing the future or part of a different timeline or???????? And also- has Cal had caliborn's soul in him since the beginning?
The claymation was of future events and Cal has always had the souls, this is explain in [S] MSPA Reader: Mental Breakdown
I don't see how it would be lazy writing if it becomes necessary and someone is capable of doing so. In that case you could argue that Roxy appearifying a new Matriorb is lazy writing too. Or Jade saving the planets from the Beta session. Or John retconning the timeline.
I’m no English major so this isn’t a perfect analysis but,
It would be lazy because there’s been no build up to it. Creating a new Matriorb has been a thing for years and Roxy was forced into the role of attempting to create it by the Condesce, and then chose to continue to try to make it of her own free will. Jade saving the planets was also an established plot point before hand as Echidna’s request was for Jade to do so. John’s retcon was kind of lazy writing but due to Homestuck being a webcomic Hussie was able to pull that off in part to the nature of the story. This of course is only my opinion and you are free to yours but I just don’t think it would be strong for the story if Roxy just up and made the trolls’ slabs.
do you think it'd really be essential for the trolls to become godtier? personally, maybe it shouldnt be done for Karkat, in order to make him a more identifiable leader, but it would be cool if Terezi and Kanaya ascended.

Aranea definitely was a Serket with all the standard Serket flaws and ideals. But I don’t think she’ll be redeemed. Heck, I’d be surprised if we even see her again.

It feels pretty bangarangin’. This blog already had a decent following when I took over but since then the number of followers have over quadrupled. And just the fact that thirty-some thousand people followed this blog because of me and what I’m doing here just makes me feel super awesome. It’s also really weird thinking how popular this blog is, I never expected to amass this many followers, I just signed on because I didn’t want to see a good blog go under and it’s super surreal to think I’ve become somewhat of a BNF.

Have you heard of the theory called the Mituna Method? We know that Mituna burnt himself out doing something with his psionic powers, which aranea described as "some great act of heroism". The theory proposes that he launched A1's Prospit (or its moon) out of their session and on a path to eventually end up in the B2 session, where the surviving trolls could use the sacrificial slabs to ascend. That seems like it has the right amount of buildup, since Tuna's overexertion is yet unexplained.
I’ve heard of it but I don’t think it’ll become canon. That seems like a pretty big plot point for a character that Hussie never originally intended to introduce.
