why do people skip the intermission do you think? its my favorite part of homestuck :(
Because they think it’s an actual intermission to the story. It’s a sudden cut away to a bunch of characters we don’t know and people are like “what’a da heckie” so they skip it to get back to their kiddies not realizing that what they just didn’t read will actually be a part of the plot in the future.
How do you tell what class you are and if youre a derse or prospit?
For deciding my classpect I just read about them and after some self analysis I determine which suits me best. I know there are some quizes out their that you can take but I prefer to do it myself. As for Derse and Prospit. For the kids it was those with a messy bed were on Derse and those that made their bed were on Prospit, but that doesn’t seem very reliable. I’m sure there are some quizes for that out their too.
Is there any assurance in canon whether or not all trolls have belly buttons, or is the lack of them fanon? What about the hole in Kanaya's stomach that the fandom sometimes calls her "belly button"; is that a joke based on what went down between her and Eridan, or does she actually have a large hole through her abdomen because troll anatomy?
Trolls should not have bellybuttons since they hatch from eggs. And whether or not the hole in Kanaya’s torso has healed or not has yet to be seen or mentioned.
one thing ive also had a hard time getting behind- do you have any clue why lil cal is empty post-scratch, but is full of souls pre-scratch? even though they should be identical? i asked shelby about her thoughts and she said she didnt know, id love to hear yours
It’s because two versions of the same juju can’t exist at the same time. So when the timeline splits at the scratch the B1 Cal keeps the souls and the B2 Cal is
essentially
an empty copy.

That has yet to have been stated. But it has to be more than 9 since that was how old Aranea was when she died and when she came back to life her eyes hadn’t changed.

I’m going to argue that Quotation can fulfill that need given that in Quoting something you are taking words spoken in the past and reiterating them in the present.

Davekat has not been directly confirmed just incredibly hinted at. And yes, I read it as Dave asking Dirk how to tell his friends about his *notyetconfirmed* relationship with Karkat.
In ministrife, we see Meenah change how her god tier outfit looks. Is that part of the dream bubbles mechanics or a god tier ability? If we haven't found any solid proof either way, then what do you think it might be?
The god tier outfits are just like other clothes, you can change them whenever you want.
How do you build a Punch Designix, when you need four shale to build it? You start getting shale in the Medium, but without the Punch Designix you can't create a Cruxite Artifact, so you can't get into the Medium. That is a paradox ...
The card to create the Cruxite Artifact is prepunched and requires no material to create it. The Punch Designix is not needed to enter the game.

Man, you do what’s best for you. Some peeps can’t read huge chunks of text and would otherwise be turned away from the story if not for shit like lets watch homestuck. It seriously doesn’t matter. The only wrong way to read homestuck is to start on Act 5.
