Do you have any idea what was going on it terezi and daves fraymotif during collide?
Basically they were Terezi looking at the other possible options the characters could have taken and finding the optimal one then Dave rewinds time and fast forwards it down the path Terezi choose.
They say the disciple and the signless had a romance that "went beyond the quadrants" or "transcended definition" or something. Now what the fuck does that actually mean?
Does every player have a quest bed in their dream planet? We've seen the kids with theirs but we've only ever seen Aradias for the trolls. Also we never saw John or Jade's but their moon was destroyed pretty early. Also do all the moons get destroyed or is that just kind of a coincidence?
Everyone has one, and no not all the moons get destroyed (probably)
in [s] make her pay, why did vriska control tavros to manipulate terezi's lusus into making her stare into the sun instead of just mind controlling terezi directly?
Terezi is too strong willed for Vriska to mind control
If someone was to hypothetically defeat there denizen like caliborn did would they also find there clock? Like the one that caliborn broke to become technically immortal?
When it comes to the Heroic/Just clocks, was it ever specified where those clocks are located? And do we know if it's a different clock per player, or one clock that shifts with each death as needed? The wiki doesn't really give a lot of info on this.
It’s unknown. Vriska’s clock was in Felt Manor but we don’t know about anything else
how come caliborn got his clock for killing his dezizen
It was part of his reward for completing the challenge Yaldabaoth gave him. Solve his session and he gets the opportunity to claim unconditional immortality and power.
in game over when jade dies and aranea says lucky br8k, is that because the clock paused in the middle before leaning towards just? or did it stop in the middle and aranea moved the clock to the just side?
The clock moved to Just because Aranea is a Light player and is prone to good luck.
How did Dirk and Roxy learn how to speak english???? or type it???????? oR ANYTHING TO DO WITH OTHER HUMAN THINGS IN GENERAL????? (Other than the things that were left for them)
Internet? As adults those two did pretty incredible things so raising themselves from infancy doesn’t seem as unrealistic in comparison. Roxy was raised by carapaces too so don’t forget them.
Is there any significance behind SS hating clocks and CD loving them? I know that sometimes they have a connection to the Heroic/Just spectrum, for instance. I was just wondering if you all thought there was more significance tied directly to the Midnight Crew.
Spades Slick hates clocks because his rival Lord English is a Time player.
So, I checked the overly complicated chart, and I still don't quite understand how it is that the Alpha kids aren't related to each other. I suppose you've probably been asked this before, so a link to that post would be fine. Alternatively, on which page was John completing his ectobiological duties?
How many blood colours are on the hemospectrum in canon? Is it just the 12 different colours or are there colours in between? (Ignoring the part where Hussie said all fantrolls are canon, even ones with crazy rainbow sparkler blood, I mean IN comic)
Are the BETA kids actually related to their guardians? Because they show them coming to their guardians via the meteors. The ALPHA kids are made as paradox clones of the guardians. Are the BETA kids actually the guardians'( BETA kids guardians, who are then actually the ALPHAs for another set of BETAs) guardians (guardians to those gaurdians) paradox clones? And the guardians have another set of guardians? Or does the game not work like that? Who created the BETA kids? If they cane by meteor it
Yes the beta kids are related to their guardians. Jade and John are the clones of Jane and Jake’s ecto slime. Rose and Dave are the clones of Roxy and Dirk’s ecto slime. John created all 8 humans during his ectobiology session and they were sent through portals back to Earth in different time periods.
People think the ACT 1 is boring? I was mostly intrigued by the way it was written and the fact there was cake everywhere
There’s a lot of coding jargon and stuff in it that’s very confusing. And it’s set up in a pseudo-interactive style like where it tells you to enter a name for the character but you can’t actually enter a name. Factor in that the narration is constantly “you, you, you, you this, you that” making it seem like you’re supposed to be the character but you’re also a being that’s watching the character? And there’s just so much exposition stuffed in Act 1 which is difficult to get through and there’s not really any connection to the characters at that point to help give you motivation. Going back and rereading Act 1 once I have the connection to the characters and I understand how the story is told and how things work, A+, really funny but the first time it’s difficult for most people to get interested, especially if they’re a poor reader like me.
tl;dr: the mspa writing style is confusing if you’re not used to it
Sorry for my bad EnglishIf Sollux rise to GodTier in Quest Cocoon, which his Dream Self will rise?
That’s a good question and I’m sorry to say I’m not sure. Although probably his Derse self since that’s the team he’s on and that’s the one that woke up when Feferi kissed his corpse
Hello, i am a new reader and i am still trying to understand the storytelling. I mean stuff like how dad throws cakes to john and rose attacking mom or moms kinda weird manners toward rose and stuff. Is it just some comic shenanigans? I dont know? Like the stuff that happens in all those animes and all? I know bros abuse turns out to be actually terrible and how dave talks about it. It just confused me a little. Thanks!
Mom and Dad are just weird that way. They do it to humor or get a rise out of their kids, which isn’t too unusual, they just take it a bit farther
We know there are only 12 castes on the hemospectrum, but does that mean there are only 12 different blood colours? Like, could there be different shades of burgundy/bronze/yellow/etc, or does every troll in a given caste have identical blood?
Yes, there can be different shades. The canon fan trolls and some of the Hiveswap trolls have shades a bit different than the main 12.
is the lifespan of a troll relative to the rank of their blood? I know that Fuschia bloods live for centuries but I don't remember if low bloods have shorter lifespans
I don't see now arquius proves trolls have nipples? He seems to be showing surprise at the idea of them in my eyes (also, fun fact; all humans can produce milk under the right conditions. Huss / ARquius got that one wrong)
Do you have a source for where it says that rust bloods live for only ~50 years? I remember back in 2012 people would say the lived to only like 20, and that bothered me.
Here, they must have mixed up their sweeps and years
