uhm so i was rereading homestuck and... after game over, basically terezi saved everyone? do you think that without terezi there would have been a way to "fix" everything or is she sort of the most important character in homestuck?
I’m sure John could have “fixed” everything on his own, but he probably would have fucked a bunch of stuff up in the process. So lets be glad TZ waited to die until after she told John what to do.
But when Gamzee said that Terezi was hurting him, wasn't it just a distraction so he could stab and harm her right after that? Terezi was rightfully fighting against him. (Or, at least, that was my interpretation of what happened.)

Did mutants on Alternia start being culled after the Sufferer/Signless's lifespan as a result of what happened or nah? Also, do we know if mutants are normally culled on Beforus?
Mutants were culled before the time of the signless and on Beforus that are culled but it doesn’t mean killed there, it kinda means to take care of

It’s a Quest Bed. You can’t die on it to ascend tho. A person’s dreamself is teleported to their Battlefield Quest Bed when they die on their Planet Quest Bed. This is why the Alpha kids had to die using their Slabs
so, say that nothing "out there" happened in Act 7, just all the plot loops being closed, and the cherubs will eventually be born on Earth. (my personal interpretation is that the kids would ensure LE never exists, but no one else is saying that). my question is why would the kids abandon earth, letting it become a wasteland? i know the star it orbits is dying, but they've moved a planet once before... its just very upsetting to think about...

wait so in the retconned timeline, jade is put to sleep before she can teleport everyone and screw around. but in the pre-retcon timeline shes screwing around and she goes through one of the skaian defense portals and shrinks earth. how does she get earth again if she was put to sleep before the kids even got off the meteor? RE: Vantas and lime blood genes. It depends on whether he carries the lime blood gene in the first place. If he does carry it, and either another troll carries it or has a gene recessive to it then lime blooded grubs are a possibility. On the other hand, if he doesn't carry the gene then he can't pass it on. And all that assumes that troll genetics work like the genetics of us earthlings, and that lime bloodedness is carried on a single gene and not connected to multiple genes.
Trolls get (well, got) sent off Alternia when they reach adulthood. Has it been explained how they can reproduce, then? Do they hang around on Alternia for just long enough to fill a few buckets, then get sent off? Do buckets get mailed back to the planet with some sort of intergalactic postal system?

How many of the 12 troll kids would've actually made it decently into adulthood before they were culled or killed by other trolls had the world not ended? Many of the trolls have physical disabilities not to mention Karkat's mutation and Feferi would've gotten slaughtered by the Condesce.
Karkat and Tavros definitely would have died, Aradia was already dead. Terezi is debatable since she is blind, but she can function normally. Sollux might have been culled depending on how he managed his mutation (which made him hear the screams of the soon to be dead). And Fef def. wouldn’t have beaten the Condesce. So to answer your question, 6-8 of them would have lived.
I saw an ask about how many of the trolls would survive - to the part about Feferi not being able to beat the Condesce, didn't she have Gl'bgolyb loyal to her (Feferi) instead of the Condesce due to Condy going so far away? would that possibly give Feferi any sort of advantage? (wow that sounds confusing sorry)
Only if they fought in the water of Alternia, but even then Condy might still be able to win
That question about Troll tongues earlier actually brings up another question. Is there ever any given reason why Troll tongues are grey? Since they blush in their blood color, one would think their tongues would be their blood color too, yeah?
Because science fiction. I mean the Cali twins are a single entity that changes its blood color and tongue color along with it. You can probably find some science out there to explain this stuff, but that’s not my department.
Why is Dirk's lil cal empty? Shouldn't all lil cals be filled with arquius, half of gamzee, and caliborn to make a stable timeloop? Or did lil cal just suddenly went empty when it went through the post scratch portal, but not the pre scratch
It was when it split for the Scratch. Pre-scratch Cal had the souls in it, but 2 of the same jujus can’t exist at the same time so Dirk’s lil Cal was emptied out.
