Why is Eridan often depicted with two different talk sprites?

Most of the trolls have two. One from  [S] Past Karkat: Wake up. and one from  [S] Kanaya: Return to the core. both are walkaround flash games from Act 5 Act 2

Am curious why did you close the asks box if you don't mind me asking

this is more of a homestuck fandom history question, can i do that? has there been major fights over the race of the kids / has hussie ever semi-confirmed the race of a kid (i know that dave, rose and roxy have all been confirmed to be blondes)

oh my god, yes there have been major fights over the kids races. People would argue about that for days pre-gigapause.  It was so bad. People used to defend their headcanons to the death, so bad. Now people don’t care that much and get that headcanons are just headcanons and it’s okay for people to like different things.
Hussie has stayed mostly neutral on the topic except for a few jokes here and there. While the lalonde have indeed been confirmed blonde, I can’t recall any canon proof for Dave.

Has John ever officially cried? People like to draw him as the one who cries but isn't he the only one who doesn't cry?

John has indeed cried in canon on at least one occasion

hi guys!! so happy to see the box is open again, i was wondering this for awhile: would it have been possible to bring back characters using the rings PM and WV threw into the volcano? for example eridan and feferi. we saw one ring bring back areana but i cant recall whether it was one of those :0

Nope, the rings that WV and PM threw into the volcano were the Queens’ Rings. They had no life giving powers.

I know you guys are swamped with questions, but have you ever noticed that the sprites of the beta kids are coloured in the alpha kid's text/symbol colour? And vice versa, nannasprite=light blue tavrisprite=dark blue davesprite=orange arquiusprite=red ect... I don't know if that was common knowledge but I just realized it

This is true for everyone except Jaspersprite whose color ( #f141ef ) was slightly different than Roxy’s text ( #ff6ff2).

so now that we're on the ropic of rings, is it possible that the void and life rings are the ones from the cali's dead sesh? i know that they are not supposed to have an origion but is it possible that the rings fell into their hands at one point and became the game rings?

The Ring of Void definitely came from the Alpha kids’ session but the Ring of Life isn’t and could very well be from the Cali twins’ session, I suppose we’ll never know

Does gamzee ever get outta the box?

We know for a fact that h does since he helps Caliborn and also becomes part of LE

Do you think hussy will put his game onto steam? Or do you think it will be an independent pc game download from mspaint.

You've said before that all the dream bubbles were destroyed. But I'm pretty sure nothing in Act 7 indicated the dream bubbles were destroyed, just that the Green Sun was destroyed. What basis do you have in saying that the dream bubbles were destroyed?

Alt Calliope opened up the black hole which began to suck in all of Paradox Space. Also, Lord English was already shattering reality with his rainbow laser powers.

Does it ever say in canon if Aradia has telekinetic powers before she dies? You said once that powers were caste locked, so I thought if it was something Sollux could do it wasn't something Aradia did while alive.

Yes, Aradia had telekinesis while she’s alive. Vriska mentions here that she brings Aradia along to find the ultimate juju so Aradia can use telekinesis to move it.

Do Jade bloods have to be revived (possibly by a Blood Player) to become a Rainbow Drinker or is reviving as one just an innate thing they do?

Becoming a rainbow drinker is a metamorphosis, something Kanaya had been groomed for since she was young. Being revived didn’t work because her dream self was dead and the Blood player theory isn’t really relevant because Porrim already confirmed that the condition is directly related to jade blood, not if you’re revived by a Blood player. 

Who beat dirks yaldaboath?

It’s never mentioned if Dirk ever fought Yaldabaoth or even met him.

what are some of your favorite moments in homestuck? (whichever mod sees this) right off the top of your head. (funny, beautiful, sad, etc)

A few off the top of my head.. Vriska’s death scene, I thought it was a perfect end to her arc. All of [S] Make Her Pay, especially where Aradia came to beat the shit out of Vriska. When Rose fought Bec Noir. When Caliborn bit off his leg. When Jade was shrinking all the planets. When Roxy killed the Condesce. There are a lot of good moments in Homestuck.

Feferi’s lusus once told her a prophecy that Feferi would unite the land dwellers and sea dwellers but the prophecy was never brought to fruition. 

How did the alpha trolls/pre scratch trolls scratch their session and then like became ancestors? I'm still confused on that. Also, how could they have been in the dream bubbles if karkat did the ectobiology stuff?

They scratched their session and normally when a session is scratched you cease to exist but Meenah decided to blow them up before the scratch was complete so they became ghosts instead. 

When a scratch is initiated the meteors headed to Alternia through Skaia’s portals were switched and they were sent to a time way before Karkat’s team was born. They grew up to become the ancestral figures to Karkat and his group.

Do the beta troll's horns get smaller than their ancestors?

Horns grow with age so the beta trolls horns are smaller since they’re so young

Why was Vriska's dream self bleeding during the scene with her asking Tavros to kill her?

There’s a couple theories out there, the most likely being that either 

A: Dreamselves slowly gain wounds of the player’s main body and that’s why you have to kiss them relatively quick after they die or

B: It was because she was on her Quest Cocoon, and he dreamself was being killed as well so she could ascend.

Where in the comics does it show Dualscar's death? Or, at the least, evidence of it? (And all the rest of the ancestors?) o.o

The death of the Summoner, Disciple, Darkleer and the Grand Highblood are unmentioned buy it’s likely that the Summoner was killed, the Disciple of old age, and the other two by either old age or the Vast Glub.

If you mean like telekinesis then yes, we see Damaras do it a couple times. She should have time powers too, but they’d be a bit different than Aradia’s.

How are the Hiveswap kids related to the kids from Homestuck?

They are (or at least Jude is) Grandpa Harley’s kids thus making them biological half-siblings to John and Jade as well as adoptive siblings to Mom Lalonde which in turn makes Rose their adoptive niece.

You have to remember, Dirk and Roxy’s meteors didn’t land until 2409. But yes, their guardians did die by the hand of the Condesce centuries before their birth.

As for Roxy’s Mom, she was an author, she could black out pictures in a similar fashion to Grimdark Rose and Void players, and how could we forget that she killed Guy Fieri?

Just wondering - are jade bloods the ONLY ones who can care for the mother grub, or can other castes care for her as well? I have an indigo blood oc and her and her ancestor are basically supposed to be the momthers of the group so I figure it would be fitting for ancestor to have helped care for the mother grub - but I don't want to be going against canon.

Canonically, I believe it was only Jade bloods, but there are plenty of ways to have your indigo troll be there. They could have been assigned to oversee the jade bloods after one of the rebellions, or their lusus could have been killed when they were a grub and a Jade blood adopted them. There are plenty of loopholes to exploit. 

I don't really know cuz I joined the fandom later on, but where did the Eridan march cosplay come from? I know it's not canon, so where?
