Just wondering on this update, do you know or have theory on how dave and terezi revived dirk the first time he died? I'm pretty sure that jane was not present during that bit to revive hime
Okay so basically, Dave and Terezi combo move, Terezi found a series of events in which Dirk didn’t get pumped full of lead and Dave time traveled that Dirk in.
[S] Collide officially confirmed that Pre-retcon Sollux and Aradia are still alive so that means we have 2 alive

I just realized on my third watching of Collide that the last place we see Gamzee is on Dirk’s planet which is pretty much exploded. Now obviously Gamzee could survive it since he’s practically immortal, but the fridge isn’t, so Gamzee might be on the loose.
So I heard a lot of newer homestuck fans are confused about why shrek was in the upd8 with Eridan sitting on his shoulder holding cotton candy

I was expecting something similar to [S] Cascade but Collide was equally good. It was still dramatic, just less so but it was also a lot more humorous. I’ve watched it three times already and it’s still stunning. I continue to get chills at certain parts like when Dad Crocker breaks open the wall and the flashback to the betas’ homes.
And the animation was so good, it was different than the animation normally in homestuck and it definitely benefited from that. I really liked the art style Jade was drawn it, it really suited her much more than how she’s been drawn in the past, or at least that’s my opinion. The use of fraymotifs was amazing, they are so cool I really wish they would have been explored more in the comic.
All and all, Collide exceeded my expectations, and was a fitting end to the colossal Act 6 and good spiritual successor to GAME OVER.
I just this its funny how Terezi got stabbed in the chest and carries on for at least another hour, and yet )(IC drops dead like a loser when she gets stabbed despite being higher on the hemospectrum, which is supposed to make her sturdier
Okay, lets just say that in addition to stabbing Condy with a sword, Roxy also stole the absence of chocolate pudding from her lungs so she couldn’t breathe and suffocated to death.
I know in the fraymotifs...time was used to freeze people...void to create things..mind to coordinate things...wind for, well wind...what did the seer of light aspect contribute?
Guidance. As you can see in several of the fraymotifs, light beams appeared first and then wind//cubes followed. Rose also assisted in the summoning of the wizard statue
- Rings are thrown in volcano. This kickstarts the production of the new Genesis Frog.
- With the conditions for the new universe met by Echidna, the new tadpole begins to take root in the kid’s original Skaia, as shrunk, held, and then released by Jade. It travels to the center of the hole that John carved out when he extracted The Tumor, which was stopping the kid’s genesis frog from taking root. The Frog emerges, fully grown, and creates a complete new universe.
- Alt Calliope, meanwhile, destroys the Cherub’s Green Sun, and uses it’s power to create a massive, massive black hole, to destroy the old universe into the void, along with herself.
- Vriska, during the fight, deploys Caliborn’s juju, and opens it up. This creates a stable time loop that releases the kids, when they were captured by Caliborn, allowing their beings not to be tied to this universe. This switches the door they are standing in front of to the door to the new universe.
- John opens the door- through his touching the handle, everyone from their session was transported to the new Universe. Yes, everyone. Your favs are fine. (Gamzee might be there too).
- Once in the new Universe, Jade deploys Roxy’s Earth, which was the culmination of their plan- to terraform and live on that with their friends and the carapaces.
- When Lord English attacks the Juju, the door opens- on the other side. Lord English is now trapped inside.
- Using the power of the Green Sun, Alt Calliope destroys the old universe. She and everything else is gone. However, Caliborn destroying the clock means he is unkillable- and the juju is indestructible. So in the old universe, sealed in his own juju, exists Lord English. Forever quarantined to the unknowing void, floating through space.
- The last thing we see, when the kids enter, is an unprototyped kernelsprite, which signifies the circular nature of Homestuck- the “new game plus” if you will. That SBURB will return, somehow, to this new universe, and it will all begin again, eventually.

I know you're probably getting a ton of asks but how come calliborne breaks his clock and becomes LE with flashing eyes in ACT 7 [S] if theres calliborne's masterpiece explaining how dirk made lord english with the culmination of characters.
He had flashing eyes in the masterpiece. Breaking the clock is what gave them to him, but he’s still Caliborn in every other regard.
sorry i know you must be getting a lot of these right now, but my question is, WHEN did the kids of this timeline go and fight lord english? chronologically speaking, when did the claymation story of the eight kids getting trapped in the juju happen (in relation to the fight with L.E. and the creation of the new universe?)

Speculatively, I assume they couldn’t enter and had to stay behind and might possibly have been killed, but I don’t know. Stay tuned for the epilogue to find out.
Before, you guys had mentioned believing in a multi-Caliborn theory, that alpha!Caliborn and art!Caliborn were two different beings. So has this been proven false by Act 7?
I thought the Earth the cherubs grew up on was just an older version of the Alpha kids earth. How did Jade take that Earth before the cherubs existed on it without messing up the timeline?
They went to after the Cherubs lived there before they colonized it
So, the kids and trolls won and caliborn/lord English lost right? That was the one thing I was a it confused on, because everyone seemed happy and I cried but also I couldn't tell what happened to LE/Caliborn.
We aren’t entirely sure, but presumably the black hole Alt!Calliope created engulfed everyone, including English
I'm a little confused about something in the ending. Do the kids just go back to the alpha kids planet which was all fixed up and eventually becomes caliborn and calliopes planet or do they actually go to the new universe and live there
Will the human race be restored to earth as well as trolls? If so, how?
Well they could do it the old fashion way or maybe through ectobiology. Considering half the kids are either related or pretty gay, my bet is on the later.
So I understand most of the ending but there's one little thing I think I've missed somewhere. When Vriska pulls out the ultimate weapon it's loaded with the kids, like we saw in Caliborn's Masterpiece, but when exactly did the kids go to fight Caliborn and get sucked into the ultimate weapon? I know it happened, but I'm just not sure when, from the perspective of the kids, that fight went down...
Has anyone else noticed that the volcano, tadpole-frog and planet-hole in the Act 7 animation appear to be a reproduction metaphor? Because I haven't seen anyone else even give it a passing mention. Is this something that was established earlier on and I just never noticed?
