RE: Vantas and lime blood genes. It depends on whether he carries the lime blood gene in the first place. If he does carry it, and either another troll carries it or has a gene recessive to it then lime blooded grubs are a possibility. On the other hand, if he doesn't carry the gene then he can't pass it on. And all that assumes that troll genetics work like the genetics of us earthlings, and that lime bloodedness is carried on a single gene and not connected to multiple genes.
