Do Aranea and Kanaya have any notable traits in common that might be common to the Sylph class?
They both seem eager to help people but have a ruthless side. Aranea paid people to listen to long-winded explanations to help them understand and Kanaya has an obvious motherly side. Aranea also took control of the alpha timeline because she thought it was for the greater good and demonstrated some violent behavior. Kanaya doesn’t mind getting her hands dirty for her friend’s sake, sawing off Tavros’ legs or cutting her lusus down the middle and sticking her hand inside it’s body to get the matriorb. So all in all, helpful but ruthless.
