There is a brief glimpse hinting at Kankri’s quirk in Mindfang’s journal. The fact that the journal briefly mentions the Sufferer at all, as well as it being the first reference to him, could be a forgotten fact in itself.

just how snarky can submissions be? like when this blog was shiny and new I was getting out of my "man, this Homestuck thing is awesome!" phase, and going into my "man, this fandom can be kinda dumb sometimes!" phase. Of course John is going to die. The law of large numbers demands it. The question, though, is whether he's going to die before or after the story is over.

(This is just what I THINK is going to happen, not what is actually going to happen, don’t mind me.)
I personally think that John is going to get killed before the end, well, I think he is going to die at the VERY end. That’s how Homestuck will end. Perhaps with all the Beta/Alpha kids dying. I don’t know for sure.

But I know John is probably gonna die. :/
