You said earlier that Meenah and Arenea were able to die before the scratch because of Meenah's thief of life powers, but the real reason is much simpler. She just timed the explosion at the moment right before the scratch, that way all the God-tiers wouldn't have a chance to revive before it finished (thus getting erased from existence)
I got several messages about this. This is the truth. I had forgotten that that had happened until I read the post when it was posted.
