Um, hi! I'm sorry if I'm being a bother, but do you mind doing something for me? Your wonderful followers are great at finding some good facts I completely forgot in the comic! This time, though, I have a couple of specific things I forgot! Do you mind publishing this so your followers can go forth if they remember? They are; If it's ever mentioned how the Beta kids met each other. And how did Jade know to kiss Dave to revive him? Thank you for your time!

As I recall, Jade was told by Karkat to kiss Dave; but that was a few hundred pages back, way back in the Doc Scratch thing, and I believe John and Jade met because time travel; John's package to Jade for her tenth birthday or so got sent back by PM to Jade at approximately half that. Again, I don't have a source, sorry. I don't think we know how the Derse kids met each other or the other two, other than that John was introduced to them by Jade.

So yeah, take this and cut and paste it together with the replies to that question as necessary.

I’m gonna do a summarize of everything Kankri said in [S] ACT 6 INTERMISSION 3:

The Pre-scratched name for Alternia is “Beforus”
“Mutants”,“blue bloods”,“lime bloods” and “rust bloods” are hemophobic terms.
Lime bloods are called burgundy-umber-ochre-yellowgreens (G.U.Y.S.)
The main dysfunction in troll society (Both Alternian and Beforus) was produced by the privilege given to the Highbloods thanks to their long lifepans.
There are off-spectrum trolls (often called otherbloods, caste-multiples and polyblooded).
