In Cascade, where were they when the Tumor exploded? Like, I know that Rose and Dave were in Derse, but were they in the furthest ring? If so, then why was their Genesis Frog sitting there? Wouldn't wherever the Green Sun was created be inside the Genesis Frog?
Dave cut the chain connecting Derse’s moon to the planet and they traveled in the moon to the Furthest Ring. The Furthest Ring and the Medium are separate planes from the Genesis Frog.
a point of confusion with regards to the retcon and how it works in paradox space. i know the post-retcon asteroid kids still went through the dream bubbles, but did stuff like karkat and meenah meeting even happen from post-retcon karkat's perspective? also, how would aradia (and to a similar degree, sollux) work? are there a pre-retcon and post-retcon aradia floating around in paradox space now?? i am so confused
Karkat and the others still met Meenah and her team in the post-retcon timeline. Whether there are two pairs of Aradias and Solluxes has yet to be seen.
Is the retcon when John used his ring to go back with roxy to join the alpha time line?
The retcon was the series of changes Terezi instructed John to do on her scarf. One of them was to get the ring of life before Aranea could. He gave it to Roxy and then he transported them and Lowas into the new timeline.
since dirk is dave's father, roxy is rose's mother, jake is jade's father, and jane is john's mother and the fact that jade and john are siblings and so are rose and dave, does that mean that this is trying to suggest that roxy and dirk and jake and jane are canon, ship wise?

Caliborn, Arquiusprite, and half of Gamzee were trapped inside him and then Doc Scratch was created via ectobiology from Lil Cal and a white cue ball. Once Doc Scratch died Lord English emerged from his body as an amalgam of those characters.
So my dear mods I'm a but confused about what happened on /005596 now, Jack stabbed John even though John (probably) intended to fight him after the death of his Dad. I'd think that was Heroic myself, looking on the wiki it says "John died in what is clearly the most cowardly death ever." But tbh that sounds like sarcasm to me. So is there any real explanation why that wasn't cause for John perma-death? Or am I looking into it wrong?
John’s death wasn’t heroic because he didn’t take any action, he just readied his weapon. He wasn’t given a chance to die in combat before he was auto-stabbed by Bec Noir.

It happens in the future. And the upcoming fights won’t be affected by it. Vriska’s fight with Lord English will though since the Beta Kids will be released from the juju to fight him.

Yes, the grist is going to Skaia to provide energy for the Genesis Tadpole to turn into a Genesis Frog. And Prospit isn’t eclipsed, it’s destroyed. Jack English exploded it when he escaped prison.

How do you tell what class you are and if youre a derse or prospit?
For deciding my classpect I just read about them and after some self analysis I determine which suits me best. I know there are some quizes out their that you can take but I prefer to do it myself. As for Derse and Prospit. For the kids it was those with a messy bed were on Derse and those that made their bed were on Prospit, but that doesn’t seem very reliable. I’m sure there are some quizes for that out their too.
Is there any assurance in canon whether or not all trolls have belly buttons, or is the lack of them fanon? What about the hole in Kanaya's stomach that the fandom sometimes calls her "belly button"; is that a joke based on what went down between her and Eridan, or does she actually have a large hole through her abdomen because troll anatomy?
Trolls should not have bellybuttons since they hatch from eggs. And whether or not the hole in Kanaya’s torso has healed or not has yet to be seen or mentioned.

I’m going to argue that Quotation can fulfill that need given that in Quoting something you are taking words spoken in the past and reiterating them in the present.
