Because her name is Peregrine Mendicant which are uncommon words and clunky to read so no one actually read it all the way. All they need is to see her in the panel and when you read the narration you skip the bits after the capital P and M because you already know who we’re talking about.  It’s just like the thing with Bendydick Cucumberpatch or Igloo Australia
