Sometimes. The kids couldn’t talk to the trolls if they are in a doomed timeline so that could be a sign.

But couldn't John talk to Terezi in the timeline where he died?

The timeline didn’t become doomed until he died

Do we know how the whole Muse/Lord class thing works or is it up to speculation again? I've been told that a session with only two players has a Muse and a Lord but then there's "Only Cherubs can be the master classes," which is making me rather confused.

Muse and Lord are just very rare and powerful classes. It’s never been stated that they are cherub exclusive.  Only Cherubs in Homestuck hold the titles and the classes are gender-specific so that might be where the misconception comes from, but any species should theoretically be able to have. And it hasn’t been stated to my knowledge the the classes are exclusive to one or two player sessions.

me and a few others remember a quote where karkat was talking about his typing quirk, saying that he uses big letters to make others take him more seriously/to not feel as small/to make himself seem more important, something along those lines? but we cant find it. was it canon or are we remembering a fic or something?

I can’t find any evidence of it in canon, I think it might be from a fanmade work

Wasn't it stated or at least heavily implied in Mindfang's journal entries that she mind controlled the Dolorosa to give her a blowjob just to simply piss off her kismesis Dualscar? IDK, my friend said so and I don't know whether to believe her or not...

Mindfang did mind control one of Dualscars slaves into being her lover to piss him off, whether that was the Dolorosa or not remains to be seen but fanon belief is strong

I read the log before, that was my first instinct but he doesn’t talk about it there. Caliborn talks about BIG LETTERS on two instances tho.

Highbloods used the human term. Lowbloods used the more specified titles.

Are there any patterns you feel are important but are overlooked in Homestuck?

I do really enjoy the running Cat/Horse dynamic, it’s not really acknowledged much but it’s there. Rose had a cat and a horse. Nepeta and Equius. Roxy and Dirk. The repetitive appearance of cats and horses. The sprite most integral to the plot, Arquius being composed of two horse fanatics. While the two sprite^2 both have a feline component. That’s just off the top of my head, I’m sure there’s more stuff out there.

Why did the Lil Cal that came to the Beta Universe with Bro have Caliborn/Arquisprite/Gamzee in him, while the Lil Cal that came to the Alpha Universe with Dirk was empty?

Because the Cal that went with Dirk was destined to be filled and it could be filled if it was already full. Likewise, the essences in Bro’s Cal were needed for Doc Scratch’s creation so it needed to have all them naughty boys shoved up in it.

He could means like different? He could also be referencing illnesses as in Rose’s predisposition to addiction could have been passed on genetically from Roxy, Dave’s issues seem more environmentally based but he could also have had an underlying  mental condition that he inherited from Dirk.

But knowing Dave he was probably just making a joke about how parents are the reason for everything that’s wrong with their kids.

Well I mean, he likely died in the GAME OVER timeline. He was on Dave’s planet when it got all smashed up.

Dirky boy definitely has something, mad Depression for sure. I’ve seen arguments for him having NPD.  But  Dave doesn’t really shown signs of that. He’s got more of a depression fueled inferiority complex.

Not canonically

It could. Karkat calls her autistic once but that could have just been him being a jerk. Nepeta being autistic is not 100% canon confirmed.

Does Glubglub exist on Beforus? Also did Meenah give any information on what her lusus was like?

Glubglub was not, she was placed on Alternia by Doc Scratch.  And I don’t believe so, she likely was raised by members of the Beforan Feferi’s court since Beforus was a less competitive society

A follow-up to the ask about underlying mental disorders; doesn't Rose at one point mention how Dave is mentally unstable? I have a vague memory of them talking about Rose being a therapist or something similar, I'm not sure. Do we ever get any further information about what she meant by that or were they just joking around?

Yeah, Rose theorized Dave had antisocial personality disorder, which you’re free to think if you like.

Is there any characther with a happy ending?

WV and PM seem to have a nice ending.

Homestuck is a computer game. That was our cursor interacting with the story. You can see the MSPA reader at their computer a few times throughout the story. As well as the actual Homestuck disks and cartridge in late A5A2 and Mid-Act 6 respectively

After! John comes back and has a short conversation with John before John leaves and Terezi gives him the scarf.

It’s still in use. It just became less talked about. People were shown captachaloging stuff well into Act 6 but the narrative didn’t always explicitly say so.

I think’s anything and all things are possible in one timeline or another

I know Hussie "said" Davekat was canon, but he also said all fantrolls are canon, and made a joke about how they conflict with canon. No one even takes the fantroll thing seriously, so unless Hussie singled out the fantroll thing as a joke, I don't see how it's fair to take Davekat seriously. (I'm really just clinging to whatever hope I can get for Davejade. Davejade is really the only thing I ship and I refuse the let go. I can't.)

Jasprose referenced that Karkat was dating someone but that could have just been a cagey response to convince Nepeta that Karkat wasn’t available and that she should date them instead.

Vriska suspected that Dave and Karkat were involved in one quadrant or another, whether that be Flushed or Pale

And John asked Dave if he was gay, and he said no but that doesn’t mean he’s not something else.

I mean we never see Korra and Asami kiss or say they're dating and the creators confirmed they totally are and people still deny it. Shippers hang on to whatever scrap of denial they can find and nothing short of Dave saying "i romantically love karkat vantas were not just friends" would change their mind.

Which y’know, it shouldn’t matter if your ship is canon or not. Like you can still ship it, it’s totally fine.  I mean, I ship this unholy abomination which will absolutely never ever be canon and it’s absolutely chill. They’re probably referencing the time when Dave and Terezi were dating and Karkat trying to convince Dave that they could share her based on Quadrant Vacillation (like Dave could date her flushed when Karkat was feeling black on her and Dave could kinda just leave the equation when Karkat started feeling red) but Dave didn’t understand Quadrant System (side step: which is why he inevitably broke up with TZ) but aside from the non-understanding of the system, Terezi wasn’t even apart of the conversation and it was bad.

But we’re dealing with a much different and understanding Dave post-retcon and also a human polyamorous relationship and not a troll quadrant vacillation system so who knows.

..Did you not read that conversation between John, Dave and Karkat where Dave was visibly jealous by Karkat bringing up his past black crush on John? Or remember when Dave broke up with Terezi BECAUSE he was uncomfortable with her dating Gamzee at the same time? Also that part about penis ouija, right before that Karkat had a conversation where he said he wanted her "in every quadrant" specifically so that he "could have her all to himself" and compared it to joke characters in troll romcoms

A. I don’t think it’s that uncommon for a person to get jealous or flustered or whatever when their partner brings up an old flame or crush

B. Dave broke up with Terezi because she didn’t tell him she was also hatedating Gamzee and he didn’t understand it.

C.That doesn’t really factor into potential polyamory but rather highlights Karkat’s weird obsession and idealization of Terezi
