How are you able to find the exact things people are talking about so easily?
Mspa search feature is very handy and for stuff I can’t find with that I usually have a pretty good idea of where in the story it took place to use as a starting point
but I guarantee you it is not all easy. Some posts I have to spend 15, 30 minutes finding the answers to, hell I’ve spent a good hour and a half looking for answers before. Typically the longer I spend looking for an answer the less notes that post gets lmao

Equius! As for why, I think there was just something about a creepy kid that no one really liked that 16 year old me was really drawn to and he’s just stuck with me since.
Also when I say no one, I mean no one. Equius was like the least popular character back in 2012, there was next to no fan art or anything for him. The same thing could be said about Nepeta. It wasn’t until the short lived late-2012 memes of “with Equius” and “Nepeta’s dead” that the fandom as a whole started to appreciate these beautiful children.
Is universe C the same as the universe that is built? Or is it just the universe all the kids build's earth that becomes the home of calliborne and calliopie after it travels through a black hole?
Universe C is the universe created by the kids’ session. They also took B2 Earth to Universe C which eventually became home to the Cali twins. The Earth doesn’t go through a Black Hole until Caliborn starts his session and it just goes to his medium.
I know this is an obsucre question but do you know if the story of hiveswap will supplement homestuck. Like will it indirectly affect it or possibly clear anything up about homestuck?
Possibly? It is a prequel spinoff so I don’t know how much it could affect the main story but you never know, it could explain you a thing or two

Maybe mildly towards the end of the story, but feel like it was more of a “really sad/bored” depression and not quite to the disorder/disability level, but maybe that’s just me.
The one Homestuck mystery I want to know: What the heck was that alchemization of the hammer and Midnight Crew comic that John couldn't make at the start because it cost so much grist. (If I remember correctly that is.)
It was a Problem Sleuth game not a Midnight Crew comic and it could have been the Warhammer of Zillihoo since that debuted in Problem Sleuth and items can have more than one cost, but I suppose we’ll never know for sure

Davepeta said they were depressed when they were Davesprite on two occasions, so at the very least Davesprite has canon depression. But no, Dave Strider, the alpha timeline Dave, does not canonically have depression (although lets face it, he probably does)

If you try to teleport something from the past that already has a future trail into the present you create a Ghost Imprint, which is basically a pile of goop containing the genetic makeup of whatever you tried to teleport.
John took Grandpa (Jake’s) and Nanna (Jane’s) ghost imprints and mixed them together and created himself and Jade. Which makes Jake and Jane their genetic parents. He did the same with Bro and Mom’s ghost imprints to make Dave and Rose.
Colonel Sassacre adopts Grandma. After his death at the hands of baby Grandpa his wife, Betty Crocker adopt both of them.
It’s not 100% certain if Grandpa adopted Mom Lalonde, but she definitely grew up in one of his Skaianet facilities and is mentioned in Hiveswap as Joey and Jude’s babysitter.
Nanna’s son, Dad Egbert adopts John after he destroys Nanna and her joke shop.
Mom Lalonde adopts Rose and Grandpa adopts Jade likely due to their relationship with Skaianet.
Bro adopts Dave because he fell to earth on a horse riding a meteor and that was just too badass for him to pass up.
Bro Stride is an enigna, we don’t know who raised him (*coughcoughlilcalcough*)

That’d probably have to be Jade. With her Witch of Space powers combined with her First Guardians abilities she can make things (and presumably herself) go close to lightspeed.
Not counting magic or science powers, probably Dirk or Gamzee, they both have shown decent flash-stepping abilities.

It’s this webcomic where these kids play a game and their like “holy
shit whats going on???” and then the world is destroyed and then some
alien dudes that also played the game are like we have to work together
to survive because you guys suck and made a really strong bad guy. So
then they work together and like rewrite history and spend three years
traveling to the new earth that they caused to exist by rewriting
history. But then on that Earth there were more kids that then played
the same game but the planet wasn’t destroy it was just taken over by
two clowns, Guy Fieri and an alien empress and they ended up killing all
the people but the planet was still okay except is was flooded. So then
everyone meets up in outerspace and are like “we all got to fight these
bad guys that are super strong”. Oh yeah, also there’s ghost of all the
people that played the game and died and they find some bullshit thing
that basically makes one of the kids a fucking consequence-free tardis.
And the ghost are like gonna fight the big bad skeleton guy as like this
huge army and stuff
while the kids and aliens are gonna fight a bunch of other strong bad guys. And then they do! The kids win, but the ghost all die but they get the big bad anyway. After that everyone that still alive goes to the previously flooded Earth but in the future when it’s not flooded and lives happily ever after…
orphans do get culled on alternia right? im pretty sure thats canon, but no one else seems to acknowledge it... Vriska says once that if she didnt feed her lusus she'd starve and she would be culled for that so wouldnt that make it canon? or maybe it just applies to her bc spidermom is supposed to be a really hard lusus to deal with... so maybe it only applies to challenging lusi but i feel like whoever came up with alternian culling regulations wouldnt bother making that distinction...
If Vriska didn’t feed her lusus then her lusus would eat her.
Terezi never really had a lusus, and Gamzee’s was never around so I don’t believe orphans are automatically on the cull list

Grandpa Harley owned and Mom Lalonde worked at Skaianet which is the company that made the Sburb Beta so that probably accounts for them.

No, Terezi’s will power kinda fluctuates throughout the story so she might have been able to at one point. Like Pre-Retcon Terezi that was a fckin mess probably could have been controlled
What's the deal with those blue lady paintings? Are they from something other than homestuck or are they just a weirdly specific homestuck creation? Hussie puts in so many easter eggs and references that it's hard to tell

He seems like kinda a dick, but a lot of trolls are so nothing against him yet. Base on the glimpses of his character that we get from Act 1, I already know I’m going to love the dynamic he’s going to have with Jude so I’m really excited for Hauntswitch
Since )(IC / the Baroness was the one who raised Nana Egbert and Grandpa Harley by her own, it would mean they were living together for some years, right? Did neither of them (or anybody for that matter) knew in early life that the Baroness wasn't human? If so, how come nobody figured out? Did she disguise herself so nobody knew about her being a troll or something...?
