There was also the time Vriska stabbed Tavros with a lance, and I doubt she also has lancekind, so I think the MST3K Mantra might be a good thing to remember in this situation.

Ah, true, she isn’t lancekind, yet she used a lance. Though it WAS a very brief use, she did use it.
