It’s a reference to Problem Sleuth, in which similar beasts were summoned when standing on the end of an unpowered window (which, like Roxy’s, were portals that transcended across great distances and maybe even completely different realms)

When Die transported to a timeline in which Slick was dead, the Felt mansion (and entire city) was gone.
