Didn't the A1 session win the first time? So why'd they start contacting the kids? I remember Karkat saying something about creating Jack. Did he want to help?
A1 session was Meenah, and they lost. A2 trolls won but Bec Noir showed up and cut the door in half before they could enter the universe they created. And yeah, they kinda wanted to help mostly to try to get them not to make Bec Noir or to find a way everyone could get out alive
