That’s because they aren’t questbeds, they’re questcocoons because trolls sleep in cocoons not beds.
I always had the headcanon that it's sort of like grey hair. Eridan's natural purple streak is the equivalent of a human having a streak of prematurely grey hair. Like maybe trolls reaching the end of their lifespan have hair that, instead of turning grey, turns a duller version of their blood color or something.
about the lips thing, i think it's kind of just like people lips. some people have pale lips (for trolls their pale = black) and some people- more often girls- have more flushed lips. pink because of blood. So trolls could have flushed lips in the color of their blood, couldn't they? And of course, they can wear makeup on top of that. Like human girls do
Something I've been wondering - would a class combination like 'Seer of Void' be possible, and if so what would they even do? I mean I know the Seer is basically that, and Void is canonically 'nothing', so does the Seer of Void 'see Nothing' or...?
The thing about titles is they can be interpreted many different ways.
My interpretation of Seer of Void would be one who could see through or into the Nothingness.
Since Seer is a passive class someone could interpret it as one who sees what others are lacking (the void in the person so to speak). Such as patience or knowledge.

I honestly think fans delve into this way more than Hussie does. There probably isn't a canon, Hussie just sometimes drew them with coloured lips and sometimes not! We may never know and judging from just who Hussie is, it probably won't be explained.

i would not be surprised if hussie was deliberately inconsistent in the troll lips thing just to fuck with us. but most likely he just made a mistake. he is incredibly meticulous with details most of the time, (sasachres text being described as being able to crush a cat in the first act, that coming true after roxys introduction, for example) but in terms of making a joke or being plot important accidentally being inconsistent with troll lips is a mistake that hussie wouldnt be too worried about
there was once a headcanon, i think it was from way back on this blog in fact, where proudly showing your blood color means you are not afraid and believe you are strong. for example, Vriska wears blue because she's cocky and proud, Kanaya i more modest, but she applies green lipstick after she kills Eridan. so the headcanon is this: low bloods naturally show off their blood color as a defense mechanism, to falsely boast themselves. more reasonable than doc scratch putting make-up on a baby

Because a year ago next to no one liked Equius and I was teased because he was my favourite troll. There was very little fan art of him. The only time he seemed to only show up in the fandom was in Octopimp’s video. But everything changed after the “with Equius” week tumblr had (last july I think). And now everyone loves him. And I’m really happy the he and Nep are loved so much now.
as a troll's lips, tongue, the inside of their mouth, and arguably their fingernails are either black or a grey variant, it can be assumed that the waterline and inner portions of the eye would also be naturally black.
I once heard a headcanon that said that psionic trolls have eyelashes in their blood color (like Vriska and Aradia) while non-psionics have plain black lashes (like Terezi and Nepeta and Kanaya) and obviously we haven't seen any evidence of that with male trolls but then again stylistically male trolls just aren't drawn with them
Did Equius smile when he died because he got off on it or something? Or was it because Gamzee once said making Equius smile would be the biggest miracle and Equius wanted to make sure Gamzee got that miracle? I can't really remember. :V

We were sparse,admittedly, and as still not as powerful as he bases around other (admittedly more relevant) trolls, but we have existed back in those dark day of Equiqui, and it would seem that this new golden age of Zahhak has finally brought us to light! why do people act like Equius was purrfect when he was actually hemophobic around most others, and manipulative??
He is the only troll to never be shown actually attempting to hurt or kill another troll. He also became less hemophobic as the story progress, if only slightly. He wasn’t really manipulative at all? I mean, he made a few attempts but he kinda sucked at it. He preferred being manipulated with more any way. He also played a major role in the story, but from behind the scenes. (Built Tavros’s legs. He built Robo-Aradia, without which the trolls all would have died.)
The dude might have been rude, but he did nothing but good for the trolls, and the story as a whole.
Headcanon: Equius is so committed to the hemospectrum because of his mutant strength. Higher bloods are supposed to be stronger than all below them, so freakishly strong Equius could be seen as a huge threat to highbloods and immediately culled if he showed any sign of believing himself better than his blood color. Either Equius realized this himself and committed himself to the hemospectrum for his own safetry, or Aurthour taught him it at a young age to keep him safe.
Based on who Equius is as a character and his belief in the hemospectrum, it's more likely that Equius was smiling because Gamzee was finally acting like a highblood. Equius' deal with orders is more about the hierarchy and order than it is about any kind of fetish. Equius obsessed over Gamzee's behavior because he acts outside the norm for what someone have such a high caste is supposed to. So his smile likely stems from Gamzee finally, you know, doing what he's supposed to do.
Re: Date Rape... He wasn't even gonna sleep with her, though???? Like he just wanted her to love him back, and yeah that's creepy, but 1. one of the people he frequently hung out with was VRISKA so he didn't really know better and 2. IT HAD LITERALLY NOTHING TO DO WITH SEX
In your opinion, why does everyone hate feferi and equius, but love aradia and gamzee?
The only reason I can think that anyone would hate Fef is that they think “wweh, she broke eridan’s heart, wweh” which excuse her for being a person.
I image people hate Equ because he’s the troll equivalent of a racist and he’s kinda weird and some people can’t appreciate that.
I think people love Aradia because she’s such a dynamic character. She’s changed so much since she was introduced it’s like wow.
And I think people love Gam because we just have no idea what he’s doing and it’s just like “haha what the fuck”. On top of his already amazing character.

I think people also hate Feferi due to her "Lack of activity." She didn't seem to do much, but she did ask the Furthest ring to produce the bubbles, which is a major plot point, and pretty damn important.
As far as I know, Nepeta and Equius are the only trolls who lack a body count. I could be wrong on this one, but I'm p Sure everybody else has at least one murder under their belt. Just saying that for all his faults, Equius still didn't kill anyone, which is better than most trolls can say, and also that OBVIOUSLY HAVING A WORKING MIORALLEGIANCE HELPS TROLLS OUT YO
Nepeta attacked Gamzee, not a body count but still attempt to kill.
Karkat never hurt anyone either, he made a lot of threats to so it is sometimes forgotten.
