please please please clear something up for me that i've wondered over and over again. ive read hs 3 times and this confuses me to no end: john created him and the other 3 kids, AND their guardians (well, nanna wasn't really one, but w/e). they all got sent to earth in john's session. how is it that the other 4 kids were created and sent to earth from john's session to theirs if we literally saw the babies get sent back and become guardians? if those were the only 8 kids/guardians made, then...?
When the Scratch was initiated the portals that sent the babies to Earth changed. So the babies were sent to different times. The babies that grew up to be the beta kids in the beta timeline grew into the guardians of the alpha kids timeline and vice-versa.

This is right around the time Murderstuck is going on, Tavros and Feferi are already dead, Eridan is about to die by Kanaya’s hand, everyone thinks Kanaya is dead and Sollux is half dead.
Gamzee is about to manipulate Terezi into killing Vriska. During the investigation the first time Terezi loses her glasses but she was distracted by the plush and now still has them. Gamzee would have taken the glasses so potentially Terezi won’t fall for his tricks and Vriska’s death won’t happen. Gamzee also had Terezi’s glasses when he killed Equius and Nepeta so potentially their deaths will be averted. Maybe Equius will end up killing Gamzee? Who know? What this change will cause is up in the air at this point but it will definitely be significant.

Her sprite was prototyped with Bec and her dreamself. After Jade died on her questbed she became her dreamself and retained the Bec traits such as the ears, tail, and affinity for snausages.

Meenah picked on Damara relentlessly, particularly over her former relationship with Rufioh. Damara eventually snapped, beat the shit out of Rufioh, killed Meenah, and then basically used her time abilities to fuck with the team and sabotage them.
Could it be that the terminals the exiles used to command the kids represent the things the kids destroyed in order to get into the session. WV used a bottle top terminal located around where Rose lived to cotrol John, the apple that grew where John lived was used to view Jade, Daves eggshell teminal was used to talk to Rose, but how did AR command Dave?

I need some clarification. I thought that the alpha kids were made from the beta kids ghost slime, and vice versa. But I have heard other people say that the alpha kids where normal clones of the guardians.
The alpha kids are the normal paradox clones of Bro, Nanna, Mom, and Grandpa.

Well come to think of it I guess without a dead Nepeta there wouldn't be a Fefeta. However if there's no dead Equius maybe that'll mean that AR won't get prototyped? I don't know, it just seems like something which might affect what happens since AR seems to be kind of... not sure how to describe it, they seem a little malicious to me.

Long ago in the year 2012 it was basically a meme to make jokes that Nepeta was dead like “Nepeta walked into a club” or “Why was the meteor so warm? The AC is broken”. You could probably dig some up if you looked for them. There was also a shortlived meme of “With Equius” which was just adding Equius into things.
The memes gave the characters a huge popularity boost as they were fairly unpopular before hand.

No, the ancestors are drawn so that they have very little details shown. Kinda like how the kids’ guardians are all blank white with very little detail.
But if you’d like to headcanon that trolls’ skin gets darker with age that’s totally cool and up to you
I'd just like to confirm, but Patron Trolls are chosen from who they like, and not from numbers and birthday codes, right? There's a lot of people who I know keep on trying to convince me that it's based on birthday numbers and dates, or by the other way that determines the dream planet and character.
In the story the patron troll was the one the Beta kids talked to the most/got the most help from.
Fandom-wise, there are several ways to find a patron troll, all of which are fine. There is no right way to pick a patron troll.

Not sure if this is the sort of thing you deal with, but page 4243 is really confusing. Eridan is talking to Kanaya about getting her to auspisticize between him and Vriska, without using her name at all during the conversation. Then, somehow, Kanaya says, "Its Unbelievable, Her Patience" and is referring to Feferi. How do they both suddenly know exactly which "her" they're talking about? I see nothing to suggest it's not Vriska until moiraillegiance is mentioned.
This is kind of weird to explain so sorry if this doesn’t make sense.
Eridan was annoying Kanaya so Kanaya was “It’s Unbelievable, Her Patience” . Obviously this was referring to someone who spent a lot of time with Eridan. Feferi was the only one that spent and large amount of time with Eridan and at the time Feferi and Eridan were moirails. It took Eridan a second to realize she was talking about Fef, it was a natural connection.
Overall it fits the natural flow of an average conversation. If you had a conversation like it in real life you’d probably know who the other person was talking about right away just like how Eridan knew Kanaya was talking about Feferi.

They don’t know if they are dead or dreaming yet. Once they realize that they’re dead then their eyes change color.

John’s session is the Beta session because they played the Sburb Beta while Jane’s session played the Sburb Alpha.

Jade’s consorts are Iguanas. Eridan’s consorts are not angels, they are just apart of his planet, The Land of Wrath and Angels
