where does it talk about the trolls quest beds(cocoon or whatever) being gone/untraceable? I think I missed or forgot it in my read through
Bec Noir destroyed all the trolls’ planets as well as Prospit and Derse. So there are no more questcocoons for them to die on and ascend. It’s stated in Act 5 Act 2 on a couple of occasions I believe.
When was it confirmed that Equius was dead?
Well, Nepeta’s dead and in the same spot she was before all the retconning. Therefore we can assume the same sequence of events that lead up to that still happened, such as Equ being killed
i saw the post about patron trolls, and that there are a few ways to determine them, but you never gave examples. i got mine from the one you add your birth month and date, say if you were born on 3/19 ( not my birthday ), you would add them together and get something, and two numbers would be under certain trolls and the number you got would be under a troll, and they were your patron troll. could you give other examples that arent the exact same results as this patron troll thing?? thank you
Another way is based on your star-sign. For example if you are a Libra then your patron troll is Terezi.
I don’t really know any others specifically but feel free to add them.

It just means that when John dies for real it will be a Heroic death and not a Just one.

Aradia’s dreamself had always been on her questcocoon in the center of Derse. So when Bec Noir was destroying Derse he killed Aradia’s dreamself and since she was on her questcocoon she ascended to God Tier

Wait, what EXACTLY happened during Unite Synchronization?
Synchronize: Dirk leaves Sawtooth at his place to finish entering then flies to Roxy’s house with Squarewave. He kisses Roxy so her dreamself wakes up. He teleports a bucket back in time. Then he decapitates himself sending his head to an unconscious Jake, leaving Squarewave to bring Roxy’s house into the medium.
Between the two flashes Jake wakes up and talks to Lil’ Hal about kissing Dirk’s severed head which he ends up doing waking up Dirk’s dreamself.
Unite: Dirk and Roxy’s dreamselves are now awake on a flaming Derse with Jane’s dead body. Dirk kisses Jane so her dreamself wakes up. Jane then wakes up on Prospit and goes through a teleporter that takes her to the frog temple on Jake’s island. Dirk and Roxy fly to the frog temple in the Medium and enter the lotus time capsule that sends them back in time where they exit on the frog temple on Jake’s island. They grab Jane and fly to where the bucket that Dirk sent back in time and then go to where Jake is unconscious. Dirk then takes the bucket dumps water on Jake so he wakes up and is able to kiss Dirk’s severed head allowing the whole flash to happen. Then they all enter the medium from Jake’s house.
Would you happen to know if a time frame is given for how long the Sgrub session lasted? I seem to remember reading that Karkat didn't sleep during their entire session, but going back, I can't find how long it was.

They have cocoons because trolls are kind of an insect-based species. And they have the slime to prevent them from having super terrible nightmares.

The vast glub killed all trolls that did not have fuchsia blood. All the post-scratch trolls except Sollux survived because they were in the Medium, which is kind of a different universe.

Retconning is changing what happened in canon after the fact. John is going back and changing parts of the story. And unlike time travel he doesn’t have to worry about creating doomed timelines.

Why did Meenah and Aranea perma-die when Meenah blew up the alpha trolls?
They were killed as the Scratch was initiating so they didn’t have time to some back to life.

They entered On November 11th and the Beta kids arrived on the next April the 13th so they’ve been there about half a year.
Also in [s] Act 6 Act 4, Jack was counting the days on the wall in his cell and if you count them it’s 21 weeks and 6 days. Which will take you from November 11th to April the 13th.

When a scratch is initiated Skaia changes the portals that the babies go through so the babies only need to be created once.
I think Bro could have been saved. Why: Dave and Bro both had a copy of SBURB, but Dave ruined his and used Bro's copy (the one he got after their strife). So if Dave didn't spill aj on his copy, do you think Bro would have played and still be alive? (I told a friend this but she said,"Nah, Bro just would have done whatever the hell he wanted.")

The lack of ectobiology in the pre-scratch troll session was one of the reasons that their session was doomed to fail.

i finished reading homestuck from beginning to end a while ago and only one thing really bugs me. everything in homestuck with loose ends always makes sense after a while but what about grandpa harley? how is he alive with a flying ship???? and where did he go after the scratch??? this haunts me and for the life of me i cant remember if that was ever resolved or not. how did he manage to stuff jade's dreamself and yet that always existed in the past??? grandpa harely confuses me entirely!!!!!!!
Time in the Medium is not the same as it is on Earth. There are teleporters in the Frog Temple that go to Prospit and Derse. Mind you that the Frog Temple is on the island that Grandpa Harley owns. Therefore he was free to use the teleporters and go between Earth and The Medium at will.

No, Sollux was the last troll to enter. Everyone else but Feferi was in the Medium and out of the Vast Glubs range and Fuchsia bloods aren’t affected by the glub so he was the only one killed.
