Is it right that the space player has to give the CDs to all the players pre-SBURB? If no, could the beta-kids start without a space player and the time player would just scratch and maybe one of the alpha-kids is a space player? (Sorry formyenglish)
No to both questions. Jade didn’t give anyone discs in fact she was the last to get them and they were the pair Dave lost. And Kanaya wasn’t involved in the game distribution at all.
i’m sure that everyone has noticed by now that the homestuck game is very, very late. boy, do i have a fun reason why!
you may remember that what pumpkin announced that the game studio “the odd gentlemen” was originally attached to develop the game, and you may also remember that they quietly moved to in house development in 2014. what they didn’t tell you: the reason they did this was that odd gentlemen stole kickstarter money and spent it on king’s quest.
Caliborn is also one of my favorite characters and it’s because he’s such a giant piece of shit and he’s super fun and easy to roleplay. The great thing about his character is that it’s so simple yet so complex like you can summarize him in a few choice actions like: be rude, hate clowns and women, make art and want to kill things. That’s pretty much his entire character and it’s so ironic and outstanding that this simplistic character is so interesting and is pretty much the main character for half the story. Most people see him as the awful thing he is and when he shows up are like “ugh, not this guy again” and totally over look that he drops some of the funniest lines of the comic. Over all, Caliborn’s character is a fucking joke, literally, he’s supposed to be a parody of those douchebag fans everyone knows and hates and Hussie writes him in just such a perfect way that I love the character and not even in an ironic way.

Basically the guys that What Pumpkin originally commissioned to make Hiveswap took the money WP gave them and used it to make a different game (called King’s Quest I think). So after like a year of them not doing more than making one glitchy room WP terminated their contract and was supposed to get back about a third of what they gave the other company. But then the other guys spent like half of that. And basically dealing with their Bull Shit was one of the main contributors to the GigaPause and we’re so lucky that WP has made so much progress on the game in such a short period of time.

That is actually a really interesting possibility that I don’t think I’ve heard anyone suggest before. In theory I suppose they could have survived the crash, and that could possibly be a way for Kanaya (and maybe Tavros) to ascend.

I do not, that has not been explained in canon. It could have something to do with his Jokerkind Strife Specibus or some Time Shenanigans, but again, I’m not sure.

Okay so even if he was mentally ill, does he still get off scoot free for murdering people, severely abusing someone, decapitating and making out with a corpse, and sexually harassing people? In regards to a session with only one of the necessary aspects: there IS a possibility of a session with only a space player succeeding. The time player is needed in case a scratch is necessary, whereas the space player is needed to create the new universe. If by some chance a group were to do everything perfectly, a time player might not be needed to have a successful session.
Both a Time and Space player are needed because those aspects lay the foundation for any universe. If a universe was somehow made lacking one of the aspects it would be fundamentally flawed and probably wouldn’t be able to create another universe.
With the Gamzee thing, Anon, he is an asshole, and he's NOT a good person, but personally, I still like him. I like him for who he was, and I can appreciate the character development he's gone through, to nice little clown to murderous villain. I still love him, but I can acknowledge that what he's done is bad and he's a villain, not a perfect baby.

No because the Kings of the Alpha kid session never transformed out of their Chess Piece form and then were blown up.

She didn’t survive, she died and then became undead (kinda). She could still have a hole in her chest, or it could have healed, we just don’t know
how do you expect the kids v. condesce to go? the condesce has conditional mortality given by lord english where she can only be killed by LE's next in line servant, like in the handmaid v. condesce. if one of the kids is this next in line servant, who & what then? if none are & they can't kill her do you think they'll just… lock her up or something? stick her in a juju if they get one? try to take her psychic powers away so she can't break out? lots of ways this can go. penny for your t
If anyone of the kids was going to kill her it will her the heiress to her empire, Jane. And I honestly think Kanaya tagging along to that fight is a bad idea because she is a troll and the Condesce has Serket powers and can control Trolls, but maybe Kanaya isn’t impressionable or insecure enough for the powers to hold. I guess we’ll find out.
Wait, so if the Beta Kids are now 16, and they started off 13, and the game all takes place on the same day, did the game last 3 years and then resets their ages to the day they started or else when did they age up? Sorry if this doesn't make sense. >~<
