It’s because he’s a Page. Pages start out weak and take a long time to reach their potential. Vriska tries to push them through it, she makes problems for them thinking that they’ll get stronger for overcoming them but really she just makes them sad.

No offense to DaveKat fans or Hussie, but I'm not eager for the ship to be canon. It seems to be rather forced because of the fact it is a result of retcon that we don't know the details of. I see no point the ship considering it lacks development and along with the fact that they were barely friend pre-retcon. It just seems like something that was made just because and so it is. I know people are excited but I'm not because I see no point in the ship.

The two didn’t get along well pre-retcon because they both had a thing for Terezi. Davrezi happened and Karkat was mad jelly and even tried to convince Dave that they could share her (gross right?) and it just kept them at ends for a long time. Later on in their journey Dave and Terezi break up and we see that Dave and Karkat made some sort of friendship, or at least got close enough to be dorks and play with walkie-talkies.
Post-retcon, Vriska was around and Daverezi never happened. And since Dave and Terezi never dated, Dave and Karkat didn’t have that tention between them for years and their friendship was allowed to grow uninhibited. So while yes, we didn’t get a lot of the details, there is evidence that it could happen. It’s not out of character, and it’s not forced.

why there arnt humans in the ghost army? is it beacuse they are fewer alternate humans? alfa kids dont make time travel so they only have the pre retcon ghost and beta kids have some for dave but their session was shorter

Does the doomed timeline theory make sense? Davesprite was in a doomed timeline yet he still had future stuff happen (Terezi found out about the kids later due to Dave)
When someone creates a doomed timeline it does exist for awhile. But eventually paradox space will erase it. And if a person hasn’t died before the timeline is erased they won’t show up as a ghost in the furthest ring, this is why Meenah killed her team when they scratched and why there are no Gamzee ghosts, because he was always alive when the timeline was erased.
But wait, if ARquius is part of LE, wouldn't that mean Doomed Caliborn is LE, instead of Alpha Caliborn? Since ARquius doesn't exist canonically anymore.

Slightly unrelated to Collide: Was it ever explained how the Condensce got to Earth? Like, yeah she flew in her ship but the trolls were in an entirely different universe than the humans, and I'm pretty sure the Incipisphere is in an entirely different dimension, so how is she just showing up in all these places when everyone else has some kind of portal (normally the initial warp into P-Space or a Skaia portal) to explain how they got there?

This might be a little long, but there's something confusing me after having just read your Lil' Cal timeline. Lil' Cal is "full" (with souls) when he is with John in the ectobiology lab. This means that exact version of Lil' Cal is both sent back with Bro /and/ sent back with Dirk and grows up with both of them (pre/post-scratch). So why is Bro's Full and Dirk's Empty? Shouldn't they both be Full?
