I personally enjoy the snark and sarcasm very much. The constant drive to one up one another is A+ as well. Maybe it’s just that John is just really good at it but the black flirtation dialogue is some of my favorite in the story.

Most of Homestuck takes place in a different dimension with a breathable outerspace. We’ve seen instances in normal outer space (like the incident with young Handmaid) where people still can’t breathe
