Dirky boy definitely has something, mad Depression for sure. I’ve seen arguments for him having NPD. But Dave doesn’t really shown signs of that. He’s got more of a depression fueled inferiority complex.

Glubglub was not, she was placed on Alternia by Doc Scratch. And I don’t believe so, she likely was raised by members of the Beforan Feferi’s court since Beforus was a less competitive society
A follow-up to the ask about underlying mental disorders; doesn't Rose at one point mention how Dave is mentally unstable? I have a vague memory of them talking about Rose being a therapist or something similar, I'm not sure. Do we ever get any further information about what she meant by that or were they just joking around?

Homestuck is a computer game. That was our cursor interacting with the story. You can see the MSPA reader at their computer a few times throughout the story. As well as the actual Homestuck disks and cartridge in late A5A2 and Mid-Act 6 respectively

It’s still in use. It just became less talked about. People were shown captachaloging stuff well into Act 6 but the narrative didn’t always explicitly say so.

I know Hussie "said" Davekat was canon, but he also said all fantrolls are canon, and made a joke about how they conflict with canon. No one even takes the fantroll thing seriously, so unless Hussie singled out the fantroll thing as a joke, I don't see how it's fair to take Davekat seriously. (I'm really just clinging to whatever hope I can get for Davejade. Davejade is really the only thing I ship and I refuse the let go. I can't.)

Shippers hang on to whatever scrap of denial they can find and nothing short of Dave saying "i romantically love karkat vantas were not just friends" would change their mind.

I mean, I ship this unholy abomination which will absolutely never ever be canon and it’s absolutely chill. Hi, I'm an avid davejadekat shipper and I've seen many dav//ekats saying that Dave and karkat are both "uncomfortable" in poly ships. However I have yet to see proof of this. Could you hook me up with something? (If there is anything)
They’re probably referencing the time when Dave and Terezi were dating and Karkat trying to convince Dave that they could share her based on Quadrant Vacillation (like Dave could date her flushed when Karkat was feeling black on her and Dave could kinda just leave the equation when Karkat started feeling red) but Dave didn’t understand Quadrant System (side step: which is why he inevitably broke up with TZ) but aside from the non-understanding of the system, Terezi wasn’t even apart of the conversation and it was bad.
But we’re dealing with a much different and understanding Dave post-retcon and also a human polyamorous relationship and not a troll quadrant vacillation system so who knows.
..Did you not read that conversation between John, Dave and Karkat where Dave was visibly jealous by Karkat bringing up his past black crush on John? Or remember when Dave broke up with Terezi BECAUSE he was uncomfortable with her dating Gamzee at the same time? Also that part about penis ouija, right before that Karkat had a conversation where he said he wanted her "in every quadrant" specifically so that he "could have her all to himself" and compared it to joke characters in troll romcoms
A. I don’t think it’s that uncommon for a person to get jealous or flustered or whatever when their partner brings up an old flame or crush
B. Dave broke up with Terezi because she didn’t tell him she was also hatedating Gamzee and he didn’t understand it.
C.That doesn’t really factor into potential polyamory but rather highlights Karkat’s weird obsession and idealization of Terezi
Considering Signless/Disciple was outside of the quadrants and monogamous it seems to suggest that Karkat is also naturally monogamous and that's why he felt that way about Terezi, not that it was specifically something unhealthy by itself. Cause at that point you're saying that monogamy is unhealthy.

Not only does the wiki outright say it's canon (so no, other interpretations are really not valid, if you have an issue about that go talk to them), Karkat's ancestor was panquadrant as well, so when he says "I want someone in every quadrant" on top of all the foreshadowing and never retracts it, there's no reason to dismiss that.

I am just posting facts from the story. If you say so-an-so is monogamous or so-an-so isn’t, I reply with facts that may imply “not necessarily”, I’m not saying they’re polya or not because the narrative doesn’t, I’m keeping the door open for everyone to believe what they like, as is the nature of Homestuck. And if it looks like I have a bias towards davekat, I don’t, but maybe the narrative of homestuck does.
I'm not really bothered by davejadekat but I do think there's a more elegant answer to having davejade, which is...javepeta. Since Davesprite and Jade have a comic-long romantic subplot that incorporates both of their characters and issues, and I think it's pretty sad that thoroughline has gone mostly ignored. I'll submit what I wrote about them @ you if only because I really think it's worth considering this angle insofar as thinking about Jade's arc in canon and why it went the way it went.

1) Not really in the big picture. The Echeladder was a neat thing in the beginning showing our heros progress while showing a few jokes in there, but largely became irrelevant the farther we got in the story
