How long do submissions take to get through?
Well it depends on what you mean by “get through.”
If you mean making it out of the queue, it depends. We have 27 things in their right now so it could take a while; but if you ever want me to bump something up for you I have no problems doing so.

It says on page 004154 that First Guardians can't be told what to do. However, we've seen gCat being controlled by the Condesce and Bec by Tavros. Thoughts?
Wow, I’ve actually been thinking about this. First ask in a while that actually made me think pretty hard. Maybe the guardians were like, I don’t know how to put it, “off guard” a little, so to speak. So they could be controlled? Oh wait, or maybe if like, you are in a panic or NEED something done (like, how an Adrenaline rush would affect a human.) They could control the guardians.

I think they mean "told what to do" in a narrative sense. I think characters in the story can tell them what to do just fine. You just can't boss them around from outside the story. Because we've also seen Tavros control normal guardians, which is something that was said to be impossible in-story.
Oh, good! I'm not the only one confused by this then!. I suppose that would explain it... I guess, maybe, it's just another detail that slipped out of Andrew's memory? He's said that happens on occasion. An explanation would still be nice, though.
Yeah, Andrew HAS said a lot that the comic is so huge, so not everything can be remembered.

All of the guardians were supposedly aware of their charge and the playing of sburb ahead of time, but I can't recall why. One of them had a bunch of newspaper clippings and stuff about them.
i like to think that skaia gives guardians of those destined to play sburb a ton of knowledge and power, sort of like the sprites, so they can protect them until they enter and know what to do until then
I guess that makes sorta sense, for a good headcanon.

I thought these were "forgotten HS facts" and not "what you probably read in the text"? Most things posted are obvious from the text (like John wishin a burglar steals the harlequinns or the 'Karkat & Sollux fell down the stairs'? It's written on the page, we noticed)... Okay, here's something I've been thinking about (and this theory is probably out there somewhere already), but remember when Gamzee gave all those bottles of blood to Jane? A lot of people have kind of written that off as a random thing that will never be mentioned again and Jane probably tossed the potions directly after. But I'm not so sure. Remember when Roxy bottled Rose's ectoslime with her fetch modus? I'm thinking maybe bottled essence of character will become important at a future time.
In my head, I’m pretty Damn sure they are going to be important later on, somehow.
