Hey im looking for a fic that seems to have been deleted off a03 (author got anti poisoning and added a disclaimer that they dont condone the fic anymore or w/e then seemingly later took it down).
Its a beta ot4 modern AU fic. Dave & Rose were siblings, Jade & John were cousins, & they all ended up dating at the end. The summary was something to the effect of 'falling in love slowly like a faucet that some asshole left dripping'.
John and Rose were dating but things got complicated and they all sort of end up falling in love. Dave & Rose almost fucked during an incident with a shower curtain, there was a cake made to propose the poly ship, John and Jade smooched at least once. It was a fairly decently long multichapter fic and it (used to) have artwork embedded in the fic. It didnt have full on E-rated smut, but it got a little frisky in parts.
It was posted and finished before 2016 that I remember.
No worries if you dont know the name of the fic + author(so I can root around for it easier) or have a wayback link, I just figured id ask in case you did because I miss it as it really nailed the Rose/Dave and the John/Jade in a way that nothings been able to scratch the same way since.
dave is super cuddly… clings like a koala when hes tired. its very cute, but dirk is an insomniac, hasnt slept in 2 days and hes not amused but he still loves his boy enough to make him some breakfast
This one was a bit of a hard choice since all Strider pairings are amazing, but since Hal and Davesprite are my absolute favorite characters and I love them as a pairing I went with these two for today!

Story Time:
These were actually modeled after me and my boyfriend in cosplay too. We were waiting for the rave to start and my boyfriend got bored and started playing Fire Emblem. I was dead tired after walking around all day so we cuddled together while I watched him play and inspired Stridercest art.
