When Eriden agreed to go out with Cronus, it was only to humor him, really, but one date turned was followed by another, and then a third one later on, and so fourth.
Every so often, once their dream bubbles would merge or come in contact with another, Cronus would find him, where ever he was and whisk the younger sea dweller away with romantically mushy, but smooth pet names like ‘babe’ or ‘doll face’ and even sneak a /very/ quick kisses on his ear fins, frazzling Eriden to no end.
Eriden would scowl and snap at the greaser for treating him “like some helpless female” Cronus would always give him that same smirk and then wrap an arm around his waist.
Deep down inside the hipster loved all the affection and attention he was given by the other highblood.
(Hows this for a Amporacest one shot smutty thing? typed this up really quick, a previw for whats coming!)
Cronus and Eridan end up going on that date and Eridan’s not having the greatest time but it’s not like it’s going completely horribly either.
The thing is, this is probably the best date Cronus has ever had because Eridan is actually giving him POSITIVE ATTENTION, so he thinks this is going just as great for Eridan as it is for him.
So he feels that it’s appropriate to get a little handsy.
It starts with some hand-holding and when Eridan doesn’t exactly object to it, Cronus upgrades it to waist-hugging. Eridan starts to get a bit testy but still doesn’t blatantly object, so Cronus doesn’t get the message.
But then Cronus drifts the tiniest bit closer and the codpiece is right there and what if that hand drifts a bit lower too and this all moving a little bit too fast for Eridan so he shoves Cronus off and says:
“havve some fuckin manners you greasy dirtscrapin pathetic excuse for a seadwweller im ashamed to share the same caste wwith you so stop bein so slimy its only a first date youre actin way too forwward douchelord”
So Cronus gets the message backs off and they go back to the date but in a few minutes they’re holding hands again.
