I definitely still stand by my “Calliope’s classpect analysis is speculative” post but I think looking back it comes across a lot more as “Calliope doesn’t know the objective truth about classpect” than “there is no objective truth about classpect,” which is more what I lean toward thinking. like I definitely think we still need to take Calliope’s speculation seriously, because ultimately speculation is all we have, but we should also be aware that Homestuck being a story about “narrative” means that it is intrinsically coloured by the subjective biases of its “narrators”
