It’s interesting that despite being called non-canonical and at the end of its relevance, some of the more important details from the Snapchat stories following the end of Homestuck ended up informing a lot of what happened in the Epilogues - namely Jane’s rise to power, racially-motivated tensions between herself and the trolls, and her willingness to use controversial Alternian methods to subjugate her opposition (which, just as in the Epilogues, was met with much uproar when it first happened).

Perhaps also worth mentioning is that Jack Noir, Ms. Paint and the Felt are among the periphery characters whose fates go completely unmentioned in the Epilogues, while other carapace characters like WV (and PM by association) are touched upon.
