dolls are ALL ideological manifestations of something far scarier, aren’t they… the Squiddles being abstracted Horrorterrors, Gamzee manifesting John and Dave’s fears of puppets as dolls in their dreams; even Doc Scratch being essentially a mask hiding Lord English’s true nature. it’s all the same thing!
