Mine is definitely Jake, holy shit,  Jake is my child and I adore him. But that said, Dirk and Jake’s misery is so tightly linked and entwined. I actually can’t believe that after everything we went through in this comic with them talking just past one another, straight up LAMPSHADING IT at various points, always with this implication of a dangled carrot that some day the real Dirk and the real Jake would have a real conversation…
